This is a really great product. I bought it for my boyfriend because he wanted something that didn't have a lot of harmful chemicals. He says it really works and that he has no trace of odor after a long day. Even if he skips a shower for a day, he says it still works. He says he tried several other natural deodorants and there was no comparison. The only thing he wasn't so crazy about was the strength of the lavender fragrance. It really is powerful. So perhaps an unscented or different fragrance would be more appropriate. I like lavender, so maybe I'll try it. But as far as efficacy, he said he would recommend it without hesitation.

I love this deodorant, it works well and glides on smoothly. It’s gentle on skin and smells great but not too strong (for either men or women). I definitely believe it’s worth the price. I used to buy this at Target and when they discontinued it I was so upset, I was thrilled to find it again

Smells great, long lasting and after detoxing armpits for several months o er the summer this product last all day without needing reapplied. It's texture is more of a thick, smooth not silky some deodorants. I've tried other natural deodorants and had to apply or flat out did not work for my body type. Size is same as all deodorants.

So this product definitely works as advertised: you don't need to use it everyday and it doesn't stain your clothing unlike deodorants with aluminum. Why it didn't get a 5: the deodorant does not Glide at all. You have to rub hard for it to apply. Also if you're sensitive to scents, this is not the product for you. I actually kind of like the smell, if it only were at 90%. It's fine after you cover it with clothing, but the first couple of times I applied it I was almost coughing from the strength of the perfume.

Will always buy this. Works but more natural.

I used another natural brand previously and it didn't work at all against my post-pregnancy stinkiness, so I had my doubts about natural brands. After some research, I saw a lot of good thing about Schmidts and gave it a try. The lavender small is very strong when you put it on, but that goes away quickly. I've put it to the test and it does seem to keep my pits fresh all day. It applies smoothly to the skin without stickiness and has not irritated my skin at all.
