I'll start off with my negative experience. I ordered a gift set since it was the same price as the hair oil. I knew I liked the lotion bc I was giving some the last time I ordered Moroccanoil through the company. My 1st order arrived and the top had twisted off some and lotion was spilled down the bottle. I figured okay I'll order it again.*The photos are what I got when I opened the 2nd time.*I received a notification that they put my order in the mailbox. I knew something was wrong bc the box won't fit in my mailbox. I called my neighbor and asked him to get the package. He called me back and said it was laying in the street! He was surprised someone didn't run it over. It also was in an envelope, this time instead of a box like the first order. When I opened the envelope the box was in crappy condition. The guard that goes around the top of the pump was laying in the box. The top had unscrewed and lotion spilled down the side and into the box, it was a lot of product.Considering this is a gift set if I sent this as a gift and it came in this condition I would be extremely disappointed. I think the brand could design the packing for the lotion better. The oil comes with a cap andthe pump is separate.Since I had two packages to compare, Amazon was definitely responsible for the unacceptable way this one arrived.Now for the positive.This stuff works miracles. My hair is dyed so it's dry and damaged. This stuff helps hydrate my hair and makes it shiny. I have tried a lot of hair oil at different price points. The only one that compares to this is the Olaplex #7 bond oil. Unfortunately I can't use this product bc my hair is too thick. I need a heavier oil. This is where this product comes in. It's not so heavy that it weighs down my hair. It leaves it feeling silky and smooth. If you have thinner hair I recommend the Moroccan oil lite, which is also available in the gift set The only thing I hate about this product is the price tag. A bottle lasts awhile and it's definitely worth the investment.My advice would be order the gift set since it's the same price. Don't send it as a gift bc unless they change the packing your going to have lotion spilled in the box.

This hair oil is simply the best! It really helps to contain frizz and maintain moisture. The texture is sorta like this really thick oil that smells extremly good. After just a couple uses, my hair has never been shinier. It makes my hair really, really soft once my hair fully dries, too. The only issue I really have with this is how long it lasts. If your someone like me, who showers really frequently because of soccer, it doesn't exactly last very long. I bought this about a month ago, and i'm already a little over hald way through the bottle.
