A 21L box containing a mixture of our highest quality naturally seasoned cherry wood chunks, small logs and chips from our own Kent Cherry Orchard. Our cherry wood has been allowed to naturally 'season' and dry for over two years and is not kiln-dried. Cherry wood smoke imparts a beautiful light, sweet and tasty flavour to the food you smoke or grill. It is delicate and not overpowering. It goes well with any kind of meat. Unlike heavy woods such as oak, cherry wood is versatile and can be used for smoking all meats from beef and pork to fish and chicken. Our cherry wood has not been treated or altered from the tree to your grill or smoker and is safe to use. Smoking does not set the wood on fire; instead, it allows the wood to smoulder. Our wood chunks have minimal bark and therefore they smoulder clean. Be aware that cherry wood smoke will create a dark skin on light coloured meats such as chicken. You may find the darkened skin not visually appealing but rest assured the flavour will be delicious. On darker meats, cherry smoke produces a dark mahogany colour that looks simply mouth-watering.
