Perfect for our needs
My husband had open heart surgery back in 2020 and during his recovery we used a recliner with electric controls to help raise and lower him. It's a big recliner and he needed something that could roll over him to hold his food and laptop. This was our choice. It is adjustable and we made it big enough to slide over the arms of the recliner so he wouldn't have to stretch forward to have comfortable access to everything. He loves this so much he's still using it. It rolls easily so when he gets up he just pushes it out of the way against the wall. It's big but it's not bulky so it doesn't feel as though it's taking up too much room. I was thinking that when he no longer wants it as his desk we could use it as a console table against the wall in the living room. It was easy to assemble and hasn't needed adjustment. It's been five years and we're still extremely happy with this purchase. It looks great, too.

Blown Away at the Quality
I have to say, I’m blown away at the quality of the materials. Stable frame with sturdy, reinforced feeling, desk. I needed this to hold my floating monitors, keyboard, tablet, and laptop. It holds all at the same time without feeling too heavy or fragile. Very pleased with this purchase. Perfect for whatever computer needs you may have. From personal to professional.

Heavy metal tubes, assemble with a buddy
Arrived in a large flat pack the size of a standard door, much bigger than expected! Package was dense and heavy from the sturdy metal tubes and laminate fake-wood table. You will need at least 2 people to move and unpack it. Box was SO well taped down and double-layered with cardboard, I had to rip into it from a random side. Styrofoam packaging is a negative, because it crunched during shipping - or perhaps our handling it up the stairs to the master bedroom - and bits fell out and static-electricity took over and they clung to everything. Be sure to have a dust-buster or small vacuum on hand for that clean-up.A stretchy plastic-y film in long, skinny sheets is wrapped around the metal tubes that the table is screwed to. In the factory, that wrapping, to protect the tubes from bending, was done BEFORE they screwed the table on! Which means it is impossible to properly remove the film from the metal to have a clean-looking result, without unscrewing the table from the frame yourself! Thankfully, it is a simple Phillips-head or (+) shape. It took a lot of arm-strength to get going. Once unscrewed and unwrapped, the table top can easily be screwed back to its now-clean frame.Directions are a bit lacking at this point - I recommend placing the table top against a wall and sit in front of it, assembling the legs pointing towards yourself on either side. The four L-shaped tubes have one short side and one long side, so take care to line them up and think through which direction you want the table to be bigger - wider to cover a Queen or King size bed? Or taller, to reach completely over a sleeping person's legs or dog? The dimensions are VERY generous. We used it on a double-sized bed (basically 2x the width of a twin bed) and used the short sides for the width and only needed about 2 inches of piping to extend to either side! I imagine with the longer side for width, even a California King could be accommodated! But I haven't tested that, so don't quote me on it.A positive - the screws for each end of each tube have very large black plastic flower-shaped knobs, so it is very arthritis- and low-vision-friendly! You could find it in the dark, and will be able to move them with very little fumbling. I have the white painted version, so the high contrast of black knob on white tube is another point in favor of being low-vision friendly. The table is customizable in all 6 cardinal directions. This means you can angle it to face downwards, or up, or sideways. Or lift one corner specifically. And the set screws with giant knobs will hold it however you set it. Which means it is A HUGE PAIN to level. Even using a standard trapped bubble level (it's official name is "spirit level" I learned recently), it was SO HARD to get exactly right, without a second person to hold the table at the preferred height while the screws were unspun and respun on one end once the table is standing up.The four wheels are pretty small casters, about 2 inches in diameter. Two have brakes, and I recommend installing both on one side-leg of the table for ease of movement, to avoid walking all the way around the end of the bed to flip down the other brake. In our house, on carpet, the brakes are not needed, the table stays in place extremely well. We have not tested the weight capacity to its limit or anything, but it holds a full place setting without creaking. Probably would hold a laptop too. An entire PC computer tower might be a bit much, however.TLDR - a pain to set up, so you'll need a buddy. But once it's in place, it works like a charm!

Great Quality, but a Bit Too Bulky for Small Spaces
I was surprised by how solid and well-made the product was—it was of higher quality than I had expected. If you have a spacious bedroom and no furniture on either side of the bed, I think this table would be very convenient to use.I took off one star because the design felt a bit too overwhelming. Other than that, I was very satisfied. However, my bedroom is small, and I already have a nightstand in the limited space. Because of that, the table couldn't reach my chest as intended. On top of that, the sturdy and large black table felt overwhelming in the small room. While the quality is excellent, I felt that the design lacked a certain softness or warmth. For these reasons, I decided to return it. There is a $6.99 return fee, but considering it's a piece of furniture, I think the return cost is quite reasonable.
