Not much to say. Works like it should! Easy to install, chrome looks nice. For a down rod it works fine.

As described. Works well. We used it to lengthen the shower head away from an angled high-ceiling application in our bathroom.

Overhead shower wants a little longer.

We tore out our old bathroom and completely redid the entire thing. We installed a Delta Faucet RP50841 Universal Showering Components Single Setting Overhead Shower Head, which is a "rainfall" type shower head. It's mounted from the ceiling, which is 8 feet tall, and the 4 inch arm that came with it left it pretty far off of the shower floor --- higher than I could reach. We decided to spend a few dollars more and install this longer arm, which put the shower head within my reach. It is very easy to install.

Love it! Just right amount of length for the height. Would recommended for other to get it, you will not regret it.

It doesn't come with the flange. Good quality ,I got the chrome.

I did not receive the o-ring to support the flange to the ceiling. What O-ring do I need? American Standard customer service stated it never came with anything to support it.If I knew that, I would have never purchased the unit. I have many American Standard including 18 sear heat pump and many more. Looks like I wont be perching any American Standard products from now on!

The best part of my new shower. Dropped from the ceiling in the middle of my 36x60 so I can use all the space and not have to be close to the wall.
