Authority and Power of God's Word (Laying The Foundation Book 1)

The book is short, sweet, and to the point. Honestly, I am going to read it again after I am done with another book. We must as believers in Christ realize the power and authority given to us by God and use it in our everyday lives, in order to have control over the wickedness in this world. God does NOT want us to be ignorant of Satan's devices, therefore, we must read, memorize, and SPEAK the Word of God out boldly to gain wisdom and understanding. Derek Prince was spot on when saying we must take up the authority of God's Word, and not allow the evil in this world to gain a foothold in our lives. Most of us Christians live without using what the Lord gave us in order to combat the powers of darkness, but then we wonder why we stumble and fall! I will make sure I take God's Word more seriously in my life from now on. This was my first book from Derek Prince---I will definitely buy more books from him, since he certainly had the Holy Spirit guiding him in his life.

Derek Prince was a true apostle of Christ. Reading or listening to him always advances my Christian walk. I can't recommend him highly enough for those who seek someone who goes against the grain of the preachers and pastors of today. You can see that he was truly called by God, and not man appointed or applauded. Being led to him changed my Christian walk completely, for the better.

Derek Prince was blessed with knowledge of the word beyond most. This book is short and to the point which is one reason why I like Derek Prince as an author. This book has helped me realize the importance of spending time in prayer and reading the word. Gods word is the bread of life and without it we die. This book after read is one to be shared with others. What a masterpiece.

This is a wonderful, down to earth teaching about the authority of God's Word. I enjoyed every word of it. I thoroughly enjoy Derek Prince teachings! I really love how God worked through and used(And is still using) him.

Great book to apply scripture to your daily life.it tells you why to use the word and the purpose . There are so many that tell but don't give the tools to go use the concepts

This book covered thru scripture the authority,power of God's word . This is a good book to take notes and study with your Bible. I would recommend this book.

Very clear, simple to understand teaching. Derek communicate so well the truths found in God's word. He shows us how to apply truth that will deal with all of the needs we face in life.
