It is exactly 7" tall and 3.75 " in diameter. I love mine , I microwave my food and store it in my jar. It is still quiet warm 5 hours later , its amazing.

The body is steel the outer top is also metal. I think they would be ok to wash is dishwasher. The inner actual seal lid has gaskets that have to be removed to clean I would not subject to the heat of the dishwasher.

Hand wash only? If it leakproof?

I hand wash it. Super easy to clean. Keeps food hot and nicely secure.

how many oz does the lid hold?

I think something like 100 grams - maybe a bit less or more - something like 4-5 full spoons of rice. However, the jar itself is pretty wide so you can directky eat from the jar.
