Most will say this isn’t worth the $. And I know from personal experience this is true, MOST the time. Including the 5.3’s. However on the 6.0 Vortec motors, this is a must for those of us trying to get any mpg gains, while giving a little support to the tuner especially when leveled/lifted with larger tires. Definite increase in throttle response, and obviously sound when in the pedal. But I’ve also seen about a 1mpg gain, prior to the tune, and closer to 3 mpg’s with the tuner. Still running the stock exhaust. Most noticeable gain though is the difference in power felt through the rpm’s. It definitely helps uncork the the air flow. Plus it’ll pay for itself within a year of driving in mpg savings.

I was very skeptical about this, however after a friend installed the same intake on his truck, I thought I'd give it a try. Mileage improved about 5% and the extra power when I tow my 5th wheel trailer was noticeable. Great design. I'm very happy with this addition to my truck!

Love this intake. Not super difficult to install. Took about 45 min. Noticeably increased the the sound of the engine, you can actually hear it sucking air and has a much throatier sound. The only thing I didn't like about this product is the rubber connector where the intake connects to the throtal body. After driving about 1000 miles with no problem it popped off and I was sucking air directly into the throtal body. It caused my engine light to come on due to the MAF not getting any readings. I fixed the problem and and after about a day the engine light turned back off. Other than the I would recommend any of my friends to get one. It also increased my highway mpg by about 1. I'm currently getting about 14.5

I like that installation was easy. I like the quality of the product. Put this on my 2004 Chevy 2500hd 6.0. I use it for pulling my 38’ travel trailer. Have not pulled camper yet. So I’m not sure what Improvements in power and gas mileage yet. Will rate again after a trip with camper. Looks good under the hood though.

K&N cold air intake fit well and is doing the job!

The cold air intake works great! I gained about 3 miles per gallon on fuel. Definitely would recommend if you want to save money on fuel and add some more power to your truck!

Nice looking product but everything is not there to install!! It doesn’t include a way to connect that big filter to the intake tube! So completely useless

I love my intake I have had it on for the last few weeks my truck is more responsive and just sounds better even with the stock exhaust. When I hammer on the gas you can hear the throttle body open up and when u let of it sounds like a turbo when it sucks more air into the system and catches its breath. It looks good and fit perfect. I didn't even have to trim anything anywhere love this product and you can't beat amazons price off the k&n website the deal of the month was $280 without tax and amazon was $210 without tax I got it a few days earlier than I thought put it on within the week I ordered it can't wait to make another purchase off amazon. They got my business forever
