If you have never used the "purple thang" and you are sewer or a quilter you need to try this. I have one at every sewing machine and use it all the time. It helps in keeping the material even when doing a 1/8 of an inch seam - there is so many uses for this in sewing.

I wasn't sure what to expect. But the plastic is very sturdy, even with stiffer material. They are not flimsy and don't think will break with any of the material I will be using. Love the items in a pack.

This has been handy for sewing issues, but I haven’t used it yet to protect my fingers when manipulating fabric near my sewing machine’s needle.

Does what it was expected to do. It is a great all in one tool. reason I bought was to feed hard to handle fabrics but pointy end is too flimsy for that. Elastic cut-out & ends are great on corners. Would buy again.

If you sew, you will enjoy these. I have them at the sewing machine, ironing board and cutting table. Great for those areas when your finger is just too big.

Not as sturdy as the original purple thang.

These are great as stilettos when you are feeding fabric under presser foot and for turning corners right side out. I don't think they are the original product because they are not purple, but they work the same.

I had heard about these tools and wondered if I really needed one. Boy, I have used it quite often since I got it. Very Useful!
