Use this great product always! Great non aerosol spray but you can brush if out and hair never sticky feeling on your hair! Holds & effective!

I absolutely love this product. My hair is extremely fine but has a natural wave to it. I usually use a curling iron to add some style. If I finish styling my hair and finish with this spray it will stay in place all day long and well into the evening. Admittedly, this is hairspray with a pretty high price tag, but it only takes the slightest bit of product to hold my hair in place. Because I only need to buy one, maybe two of these a year, I think it's ultimately a very good value. Another bonus is that it's totally scentless. Finally, I love that I can put hairspray on and my hair still feels totally soft to the touch. No sticky, gunky-ness that I've experienced with cheap hair sprays you can get at the drugstore.It's worth mentioning that if your hair is extremely fine and refuses to hold any sort of curl, I'm guessing that this - or any hairspray - isn't going to work as well for you as this did for me.

I LOVE this hair spray! It holds, gives body to my fine hair, light weight - ultimate hair spray. I HATE that the last two cans just stopped working less than half way used. As reported earlier, it is not the nozzle - the spray just stopped coming out. I was so frustrated with it that I rolled in down my back stairs to see if I could shock it into working. This is pretty expensive stuff but worth it - however, not worth the aggravation. The Aveda Site says that they have run out of product. All I want is to spray my hair with Air Control Hairspray.

As someone with fine, thin hair, I haven't had great success with most hairspray products. They tend to be heavy, sticky, and have an artificial/chemical scent. A friend suggested I try this, and thankfully I did. It's just right for hair like mine. It gives my hair greater lift, shape and hold without weighing it down or looking too stiff. I can actually put a brush through my hair after I spray to touch up. The smell is light and natural. I only wish it came in a travel size, because I would like to have an extra handy at work and in my travel bag.

I like this hairspray a lot. It has a pleasant, mild scent and its holds is very strong without visible stiffness or texture stickiness. However, Aveda has been overpricing this product for many years (i.e., well before inflation), and at its current price point, it is no longer worth the purchase when so many other sprays can do the same thing. Adding insult to injury: countless customers have been complaining about the non-fictional stickiness magnet that is their spray button for well over a decade (in my case, since 2012), and Aveda has NEVER borrowed to fix it. You would think if Aveda is going to charge an exorbitant price for this hairspray and continue to mark it up year after year, they’d at least listen to customer feedback and fix their defective sprayer.In any case, the continual, never-ending price increase of this product—along with the ongoing tone deafness of Aveda to customer concerns about an obvious product defect—finally have reached the tipping point, at least for me. I’ll be looking at other hair care options.

Aveda products have a distinctive aroma, which is much more pleasant than most other hair products. This hairspray is very light, but holds well. I have found no other brand that comes close!
