Better than $250+ boots.
I’m in boots over 14 hours a day and these boots were made for comfort. Exceeds quality over boots that costs over $250. This is my second pair. The big zipper will last a long time and zips up with ease. Made for hot environments. Made with a composite toe for safety.

Best boots ever
I've been wearing these boots since converse originally made them and I've never been disappointed in them since Rebok bought the design over 20 years ago. It's just like wearing a pair of tennis shoes, very comfortable. I especially like the model 8894

UPDATE! Reebok is doing a much better job!
Let me start by saying that I have owned a pair of RB8894 for over three years and I love these boots. It seems that since I last purchased these boots, there have been some changes made to both their outward appearance and internal stitching. The OLD RB8894 was the most comfortable pair of boots that I have ever owned and they still are. It has a nice large toe box and is very breathable. The padding on these boots still hug my feet and the shock-absorbing insole has saved me from the heel pain I was feeling in even much more expensive boots. The out-sole has proven to be slip resistant, even on oily surfaces. The zipper operates smoothly and once you have your laces set properly, it makes donning and doffing these boots very easy. The NEW RB8894 has all the things I loved on the old style, but the boots are useless to me. A change in production has made the RB8894 very uncomfortable, due to a change in the stitching and materials used to connect the tongue and zipper area to the boot. Please refer to the pictures. The stitching change leaves a bump in the padding and cover that rubs and pushes constantly on my ankles. I couldn't wear the boots more than a few minutes. If you look at the pics you will see how the old boot avoided this from being an issue by using a continuous run of material (padding and cover) and a continuous stitch. Reebok, for some reason decided to change that by stopping short with the material and adding a section of stitching in the worst place, thereby creating this bump. This is very disappointing.I had to wait a long time for these boots due to a back-order issue with Reebok (multiple vendors), so it pains me to have to write this negative review on what was once a great product at a great price. I will contact Reebok and see what their great (or so I hear) customer service has to say, but for now these boots are being sent back for a refund. Luckily, my old ones still have plenty of life left. Sadly, they won't last forever and I will be forced to find something else. Damn you, Reebok!UPDATE 01/01/18:Since my original review, I have owned two more pair of these boots. It seems Reebok has improved (the original is still better) it's manufacturing and QA processes. The problem with the seams and rubbing have been fixed. After my initial review, I contacted Reebok and they offered me a 40% off coupon which I used to buy a pair of RB8894's. Reebok assured me these were made differently and that claim held true. The next pair, I paid full price and was pleased with the quality. I am revisoting this review because I am buying another pair today. The price seems to have gone up significantly, hence the deduction of a star.

This is my fourth pair.
This is the only boot I will ever wear at work. I wear them 12 hrs straight on concrete with no issues. They are fairly light and hold up really well. It’s the only Reebok that I will buy. The zipper on the side is very convenient. They fit to size.

Very comfortable and light. Much more comfortable and much less goofy looking than the 6” ones.

Will not hold up to their own manufacturer warranties
Reebok Will NOT hold up to the boots warranty. I absolutely love how comfortable these boots are. Great design overall, able to wear them for 16 hours straight. Zero complaints on the boots. BUT, I had them less than 6 months and the adhesive holding the boot soles on started to come off. Everything else was great and wearing out normally. But the soles were falling off of the boots causing openings. I called customer service because I saw on Reeboks website that manufactured defects, have a one year warranty. And clearly this was a manufactured defect. The customer service rep said since I bought it from Amazon, it’s Amazon‘s problem, not Reeboks for their defected product. Said it’s not their problem since I did not buy it directly from Reebok website. So if you get a defective boot and it falls apart, you are on your own and out of money.

Great for Daily Use!
Please Note: I am not a member of any armed forces, but I have been wearing these boots virtually daily for 10 months.I bought these to replace the Belleville brand boots I took from my dad (the Bellevile boots are very old and don't fit right). I very much like military style boots, and I wanted to find a pair to use daily. Reebok appealed to me because of their amazon prime status, price, and most importantly color/size/insulation/safety-toe options. I wanted a pair I could use year 'round so I opted for the non-insulated pair. At the time, I spent several days of the week in a machine shop, so I selected the safety toe option. If available, I would have opted for a waterproof and safety toe version. These are my observations:-The boots took one day of standing/ walking for 8 hours to break in. My feet were sore, but after that I had no problems. They are very comfortable and the athletic insert provides good cushioning for standing/ walking/ trail hiking. I have not done any regular running in these boots, so I cannot comment on that subject. Combined with wool socks, they have kept my feet warm for short excursions into Missouri winter weather. These are not insulated, so extended stays in the cold may become uncomfortable. In the summer, they are breathable enough to be comfortable but are obviously warmer than sneakers.-The tread is very deep on these, deeper than any other shoe I've seen. I am sure it helps with traction on loose dirt or snow.-I very much enjoy the black smooth leather. Most boots now days seem to be moving toward the suede desert or olive. This is a personal preference, but I am glad that Reebok still offers smooth black.-These boots are not supposed to be waterproof, and they are not. They have protected my feet from heavy rain, but if you step in deep water that reaches the boot's tongue, your feet will soak.-At first I was reluctant to get boots with a side zipper (another feature apparently becoming standard), but they ended up being very convenient. These boots will not come off unless they are untied or unzipped, and the zipper is a way quicker option. There is a small velcro flap to restrict the zipper from becoming accidentally moved during use. In addition, the zipper seems to be of great quality and has not faulted once.-The composite safety toe seems to work well. Thankfully, nothing serious has tested their quality, but no flexing or cracking has resulted from my friends jumping/ stomping on them to see if they work (not very scientific- I know).-The boots are 100% metal free, which will be a plus if I have to go through a metal detector often. However, I have still had to take them off for airport security.-The leather is at least good quality, but the color has been scuffed on lumber and other hard things I bump my feet into. Black leather polish covers the scuffs nicely though.-Overall, the boots seem to be of good quality, but some of the stitching has frayed and had to be cut off. This doesn't affect performance and hasn't become a problem, but it worries me that these boots may not last as many years as the Belleville boots have.Final thoughts: These boots have performed slightly better than expected for the cost. I would recommend these for someone looking for a military style, safety toe boot. My only regret for this review is that I did not have a pair of new "Made in the USA" boots to compare with. Again, I am not part of the US military so I can't comment on adherence to regulations or performance while on duty and whatnot.
