I got two of these and the color and ease on install were great. However, after about 3 months of being installed inside on 2 tiled steps, the tape lights began to come off the steps and hang in a few areas. I tried to use double side stick tape, but that didn't work. In the end, I had to take down. I will try one more time, as maybe I didn't clean the steps enough, or the detergent perhaps left a film. I'm not sure. But will give benefit of a doubt and try once more.

Amazing little lights, were easy to wire into a 12v battery also purchased on Amazon.ca. Used in a fishing shack for lighting and they work perfectly. Initially had some trouble figuring out the sticky backing but once I figured out which layer to peel off they stuck well to the wood joist, also used 8mm clips to make sure they stay mounted. Will be buying again for lining a truck bed and any other LED string lighting projects I may have.

i thought that this product would have a usb head at the end for hookup to my own power source but what they meant is that there was no elecrical end on it at all

Worked perfectly for illuminating the inside of my truck cap for camping. Biggest downside is the adhesive would rather stick to the backing than the light strip. If you can peel it without all the adhesive coming off the lights, it is pretty good, as long as it’s an absolutely smooth surface. Since it was on the trough side of the fibreglass, used construction adhesive to glue to the canopy instead. I’d recommend having an adhesive of voice on standby for whatever installation you are thinking of.Perfect light for what I was looking for.

Although the cost is low on these, I'm really disappointed with the quality. First off, the colour is much closer to a cool white than a warm white. I use led strips frequently for my business, and I compared these to a cool white that I had and they were very similar, which is no good being that these are advertised as warm white. The lumen output of these was also really low. They throw about half the light of any other LED strips I have tested before.Lastly, the adhesive was absolutely terrible. I used acetone to wipe the surface down before application of the lights, and the adhesive was so weak, they couldn't even hold their own weight up. I was forced to hot glue them into place.Another thing that speaks to their lack of quality was on the strips themselves. There was no marks to determine the polarity aside from a tiny little triangle on the positive side once you had cut them.I'm very disappointed in the quality of these and will be returning the set that I was able to avoid using.

The product arrived on time. Tested the complete 5 metre of strip light including cutting it into strip length of less that half a metre. The LED lights up. You will need to buy LED strip connectors to connect each piece of strip and be careful when removing the silicone at the end of the strip for making a new connection. I can recommend the product to anyone who is looking for LED strip lights.
