Outdoor Shielded 50ft Cat5e Ethernet Cable Assembly with TOUGHCable Connectors - UV Resistant, Direct Burial, Ground Wire

These cables are very rugged. I had one running across the ground in an area that they were walked over from time to time with no issues. I would have no problem burying this cable without worrying that it will need to be replaced soon. But with that said I still like to bury cables in a conduit. I have used this cable to setup a network between houses and have also used it for outdoor wireless access points using poe (Ubiquiti). Overall this is a great cable. JEFA Tech has great customer service.

I needed a good outdoor cable to wire up a network extension for my daughter. The run was from the router at one end of the house to the living room and TV at the other end. I had to drill through the wall and run the cable along the outside of the house. When the cable arrived it was coiled nicely and I could see that the ends were robust and well grounded. I was very pleased with the quality and the cable was long enough to get the job done without looping the excess. I had measured ahead of time of course so I knew this would work. I didn't want to order 150 ft of cable and waste money on extra cable that I couldn't use.I hooked it up to an Apple wireless router in the living room and a cable router at the other end of the house. Everything is working extremely well. All iPads and computers are operational and networked. Happy family!

Good price and great cable, but would not negotiate to 1Gb like cat5e is supposed to. Both ends were poorly terminated. One end was faulty, it had plastic covering a pin the other was loose and not covering the cable jacket. Replaced both ends and was able to get 1Gb speeds. Clearly wasn't tested before it went out the door.

Cable is exactly what I needed for my Ubiquity G3 outdoor camera. I had a very long run from the far end of the house through the attic and down to the basement over to a server rack mounted on the wall. I probably could have made do with the 75 foot on the longest run but I would rather have a little extra in the attic then run short. Cable is great quality. I've since ordered another 75foot and a 50 foot for two other cameras that will be mounted in closer locations.

As a Volvo Technician I needed a shielded Cat5e cable to complete my factory scantool (VIDA) setup (Volvo "SPA" cars use DoIP for diagnostics). This cable is rugged and great for use in a repair shop environment. If it can survive me, it'll probably work out great for you if you need a rugged Cat5e cable.

I required two shorter outdoor runs totaling just under 50', so this was right the amount of cable I needed. The ends are terminated correctly and the cable is similar to other CMX type cabling I've worked with. No problems with connectivity or interference after install. The orange branding band attached to one end seems to have faded somewhat after a month of use, but the important parts of the cable have shown no such signs of weathering.

Good sturdy cable. Laid 250' cable outside in 1" trench from the house to the pool area with no issues. Signal strength is perfect. Exactly what we needed. Thanks!
