Chincoteague Seafood She Crab Soup, 15-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)

This soup matched the soup I had experienced in Virginia where I first had She Crab Soup!

I eat She Crab Soup in every restaurant that I visit that carries it. I know what good soup tastes like. This soup was not only terrible but I couldn't even eat it. I tried to eat it but it was so bad I threw it away after only a few bites. The color was darker than any I've ever seen also. Unfortunately, I bought a huge case of it & waited to long to be able to return it. I thought of donating it to a food closet but it taste to bad to pass on. I will be throwing it away.

This soup was better than the brands I can buy in the stores here, but it wasn't as good as the brand that I can't remember from a few years ago. The cans were pretty beat up when they arrived also which made me kind of nervous about eating it.

I was looking forward to mouth watering crab soup. I was greatly disappointed because the flavor was non existent, consistency thin and it contained no crab meat. The picture is misleading because the soup appears to be thick & chunky making me think it would contain chunks of crab meat. Not wanting to throw away nearly $40,I decided to 'doctor' the soup. I added 2 tablespoons of butter, a cup of crab meat, a little Parmesan Cheese, salt & pepper, resulting in a half decent soup. I gave it a rating of 2 stars only because I was able to 'save' the soup. I will not be purchasing this product in the future.

We had to throw the product away. The cans leaked and the smell was very bad. We only opened one can and it was bad! We will not buy again! It should not be sold on Amazon.

and no crab meat- good base thats about itnot impressed and was way to expensive for what it is
