My New Favorite Coffee Buddy!
I’m absolutely loving my BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Coffee Maker! It’s become my morning superhero, brewing fresh, delicious coffee that kickstarts my day just right. The 12-cup size is perfect for my family and when I have friends over — everyone gets their caffeine fix without waiting. What I really adore is how easy it is to use. The controls are simple, and the brewing is fast, so I’m never stuck waiting when I’m in a hurry. Plus, the keep-warm function keeps my coffee nice and hot without burning it, which is a total lifesaver for those busy mornings.Cleaning is a breeze, too — the removable filter basket makes rinsing quick and simple. And honestly, the sleek black design looks great on my kitchen counter, adding a little style to my coffee routine. If you want a reliable, cute, and easy-to-use coffee maker that keeps the good vibes brewing, this BLACK+DECKER model is definitely a winner!

Good Simple Machine
My coffee maker broke one morning, and I needed another quick. This coffee maker was the least expensive and the quickest to get delivered (same day). It is a simple machine, put in the water, the coffee, press on, and it goes. The only thing that I am cautious about is that it does not have an automatic shut off, so I'm getting in the habit of not only shutting it off but pulling the plug, too. But, it brews good coffee, and I like the simpler v. complex.

Decent Basic Coffee Maker
This coffee maker was purchased to replace a Mr. Coffee that was in use for about 10 years. It is very basic, and does make good coffee. I agree with other reviewers that the system to grab a cup while brewing does not work very well. The problem lies, I think, in the fact that the basket is not engineered to be held in place well enough when the spring is depressed. Even taking the glass carafe out when brewing is done will show this. Instead of the spring engagement stopping the flow of coffee, it causes the basket to rise. I tried making sure that the lid is securely latched, etc. and it did not make a difference. Otherwise, there does not appear to be any leakage. The coffee is not too hot, which is a plus for me. Setup was pretty easy, actually. I also wish that the water reservoir was removable, but this is an inexpensive unit. All in all, it is a pretty basic coffee maker and does the job in a very simple fashion.

I think this is better than the older drip maker I had before. Priced very low too.
My very old Mr C died a tragic death. Carafe didn't fail - the power switch did. All hail the Mr C.So I'm in a hurry to find another drip coffee maker. This B&D was the second least expensive 12 cup model, is all black (match decor look). Why not?Day 2. It works great. The carafe pours easily and drip for on both reservoir fill and coffee dispensing. What I have liked - I believe - the best so far is the water brewing feature under the lid. Not a single water drip like a faucet, but a planned multi-drip over the entire grounds basket. Does it 'taste' better? I think so, sing the same grounds as before. I often wondered when the faucet-drip hit the center of the basket, even with the basket generally filling, was I getting 'all there is' to the grounds? I am now, and yes the basket still fills but upon peeking into the basket, the cooked grounds are level, and not pushed aside like the former beloved Mr C faucet-like drip. Is it truly better? I believe it is, and this B&D was significantly less than the equivalent Mr C. If it lasts 7+yrs like it's predecessor, then this is a steal.

Fast Brewing and Compact Design
This is an excellent coffee maker. It has a sleek design and fits in tighter spaces. The brew time is about 7 minutes for a full pot of regular strength coffee. It has a setting for auto-start, cleaning the unit, and strong. The digital display is easy to read. I love this unit! The only drawback is the top that flips open to add water/grounds doesn’t stay open. It has to be propped up or it just shuts itself. Highly recommended

Coffeemaker functions; packaging, not so much.
Arrived with the lid broken. 🎉Works anyway. Too cheap to be worth returning. I will want coffee tomorrow and this will make me coffee tomorrow, after I secure the lid...which you normally need to do anyway with this model. I am not dissatisfied with my temporary replacement coffee maker. It still makes coffee and it is still only a cheap temporary replacement, all according to plan. I am dissapointed with it's packaging and/or shipping.

A mid tier coffee maker
Pros:- Both the carafe and the basket are easy to clean, and the water tank is wide enough to wipe out excess water after use without any trouble.- It brews coffee quickly enough.- Incredibly simple to use.- Visually, the coffee maker is nice.- Compact, which is perfect for small kitchens with limited counter space.Cons:- Unfortunately because of the shape of the water tank, a little water always gets stuck in the back, resulting in slightly smaller amounts of coffee being brewed than intended.- It doesn't brew coffee as hot as other coffee makers in the same price range that I've used in the past.- The carafe is very fragile. After owning and only using it 3 times a week for 6 months, my carafe's entire bottom broke off while cleaning it.

A great coffee maker for those with hard well water
This is the best coffee maker I have ever had. I have well water which is very hard. I have purchased multiple coffee makers over the last 10 years because of the hard water destroying them. This coffee maker has been able to make the best coffee and in a minimum time. Which is good, because I need my coffee to live. LOL. The only issue I have with it it: doesn't have an automatic shut off after a certain amount of time. Sometimes I forget to turn it off before I leave for work. And of course, I worry about the unit continuing to perform when the coffee has evaporated. Regardless, it is an excellent coffee maker and I highly recommend it.
