Great budget glasses....
These are a good price-point option for polarized safety glasses. I have a couple of pairs of "top end" glasses, (Costa and Oakley), and while I hate to be the bearer of bad news, these DO NOT measure up to the quality of those pairs of eye-wear. HOWEVER, what I will say, is that for a work environment or someplace you may not want to beat up an expensive pair of glasses these are a great option!! (Beach, pool, work-site, etc). These could be a little darker for tint IMO, but the polarizing on the lenses seems to help with eye strain. I work offshore, and around the water and the direct sunlight these do a very good job, especially when compared to the employer issued junk that barely blocks any of the harsh sunlight. So, save your "high priced" eye-wear for less severe environments, and protect them.... grab a pair (or two ) of these and use 'em at the beach, or at work.... someplace you don't want your high $$ glasses to get damaged, lost, ... or have them "walk" away from you..... these are a great choice for you.

Once Again, the $12-$50 Sunglass Market Destroys the $200+
These sunglasses actually block the sun, unlike designer sunglasses. Furthermore, they wrap around your eyes to protect from wind blowing dust and debris into your eyeballs, so they're what you want if you actually work/play in the great outdoors. After spending $200+ per pair on Smith, Oakley and Spy, it was painfully obvious in direct sunlight that reflective/refractive light beams were coming in at the top of the lens near the frame with all three of these companies. Perhaps the frames were creating a reflective surface right above and behind the lens? I dunno. They preach a lot about Anti-Glare, but who cares about surface glare when light beams are pinging through your lens into your eyeballs? For a real life comparison, it's like those rays of light and circles of light you often see in amateur photography. Yeah.Anyways, THESE 'CHEAP' SUNGLASSES DON'T DO THAT! I just had them on in direct sunlight - no light beams coming through the top of lens like with the Smith, Spy and Oakley models I tried. Another problem with the expensive sunglasses is the 'Parallel Technology' of the polarization, and I could literally see horizontal lines in a number of the expensive lenses. Marketing is such a sad thing. I'm also happy with these: MSA Safety Works 10105404 Safety Glasses Espresso Glare Gone PolarizedIt's up to you to research what sunglasses will fit you. People talk about sunglasses being too small, because they didn't look into the temple/bridge/lens measurements and base curves. I prefer a temple of 130 mm, so these are a little tight but still worth keeping as they'll flex over time. If you haven't already, go ahead and take two minutes to research 'Luxottica'.Happy Gearing Up! =D

These glasses are another example of total misrepresentation in advertising ...
These glasses are another example of total misrepresentation in advertising for mirrored blue lenses. The photograph in the add (notice that there is only one) appears to be a bright blue mirrored lens, but is actually more of a greenish tint with only the slightest hint of a mirrored reflection. The polarization and Z87 safety rating are okay I guess, but this is the third time that I've been burned trying to get that bright blue mirrored lens in a pair of sunglasses. A customer has posted a photo here in which you can clearly see the difference. I wish that I had noticed the photo before I placed my order. Apparently all companies use this same type of deception. The solution for me will be to never order glasses online again.

I really like Edge safety glasses first saw these in a supply ...
I really like Edge safety glasses first saw these in a supply store locally and bought a pair when I was working for a drilling company. Then they got messed up at work do to caustic soda beads they fell in a opened bag when mixing mud my Super told me to throw them out and get a new pair so I received a new pair. Next two pairs I got online got ripped off before I ever thought of buying off Amazon. Glad Amazon carries Edge I'll get them from here on out. Quick run through they are mass produced and made overseas quality can lack at times I understand that. Nice look, gets the job done, pretty tough and I can wear them for a long period of time. From the Oil Field, Automotive and diesel mechanics to working construction and side job working on heavy equipment, they perform well for me. Oh and I put these on while driving or operating heavy equipment I like them that much. 4 stars cause it's a gamble if you'll end up with a good pair or faulty pair of these glasses.

why did I wait so long to buy these?
I'm 64 and use these glasses while riding a motorcycle. Clarity of vision is amazing, the polarizing feature makes rides in the country even more beautiful. The sky is a deep blue and clouds are bright and white. Vegetation is a more pronounced green which might make it easier to see wildlife getting ready to leap out in front of me. If you've ever tried a polarizing filter on a camera lens you know how the colors are made to appear more vibrant. These glasses will make approaching vehicle's windshields strobe if worn behind a face shield - the extra thickness of plastic on the shield will make approaching car windshields look a funky green or red, but that's a minor and somewhat entertaining issue.

Edge Eyewear - Safety glasses and Great for personal use as well
As always Edge Eyewear never lets me down. I have used Edge safety glasses for over 10years. I have more worn out glasses from Edge than any other glasses. From working as a Safety Professional for 16 years and using Edge every day to work, at work and on the way home. My son needed some eye protection from sunlight and glasses that looked great. He is 26 so the cool factor needs to be covered. These glasses saved him when he goes outside and faces the glares and brightness. Plus he has a great pair of safety glasses in case he needs it.Thanks Edge!! as always you have done it again.
