Works well
I use this far more than I expected. It works as expected and I would recommend it. I have used it to make machine part, garden trellises, tie down rings.

Great for small projects...
I used this roller to make a grill stand and a couple of other items. I rolled 1/4" round rod and 1"x 1/8" flatbar. It works great and is eay to use. I locked it into a vice and used it from there. I wish they made 3/8" rollers for it as I feel the machine would be more than capable of the thicker stock. I have no complaints with this purchase and would recommend for small home and ornamental projects.Robert H.

Easy set up and use.
This roller works like a charm. I was able to roll 1/8" x 1" flat bar and 1/8" round stock with no issues. The roller works in both directions, so you do not have to remove the work piece after one direction of rolling. Well worth the money - saved me time and effort in making rings for wooden buckets.

Poorly made
Loose fitting parts, poorly made. Work piece will not stay on rollers

Some disassembly required.
Bearings are rough sounding and you can feel it hanging up while turning it. This is happening without any load. I just took it out of the frame and spun it. I bought 4 new bearings. For about $123.00 in Hawaii. Frame seems solid.

Ring tool
I purchased this tool to make brass rings for stained glass lamps. 3" rings at the top.......larger for the bottom. Only tried it once. Tool worked well. I am using brass rod, so it is reasonably soft metal. Easy to set up and use. I purchased a similar tool from Harbor Freight.....turned out to be a chunk of junk. This tool was a bit more expensive, but seems to be much better made. It is going to do the job I want it to do.

Okay
I want to start off by saying this is a bit better built than I thought itd be. There are metal drive gears to drive the rollers (no idea if they are carbon steel or cast iron junk). The frame is not over engineered, but it is not under either. The rollers seem like the cheapest part of the machine, they are small and annoyingly knurled. The handle is crude and needed sharp edges ground off, but my real complaint here is it is too tight to the machine so you can't use it in a vise. I attempted to roll 3/8" round, but it was pretty clear that it was going to be a bad result so I stopped. If your goals are to work within the machines advertised limits, I think you'll be happy. It rolls 1/4" rd with ease. I do wish a larger version of this existed to roll 1/2", but this wasn't expected to be that machine. If your expectations are in check, this will be a good machine for you.
