Did not work as stated
My Epson WF-3620 printer had it's cyan ink nozzles quite blocked so I got this kit to clean it out. The instructions were fairly simple to follow and while performing the operation, I noticed blue blots on the paper towel below the print heads. I thought that meant the nozzles were getting cleaned. But after the printer went through its head cleaning operation and printed the nozzle pattern, it was a complete surprise. The Cyan did not improve at all but now the Magenta also did not print. After a second cleaning with this solution, it got worse. Even the black ink was not printing. Now I have useless printer. I would not recommend this product to anyone.Update April 25, 2020I have been getting emails from different gmail addresses, all with the same text claiming to be from the seller of this product. They are trying to bribe me with a refund of my purchase price, if I remove the negative review. I thought they are supposed to communicate through Amazon.

Read this if you’re in doubt!
Ok look everyone. You have to be patient with this stuff, especially if you have a bad clog. Mine literally wouldn’t print black, yellow, or magenta. I have an Epson WF-7620. What you have to do is flush the heads out until no color comes out. I bought this kit mostly for the tools, the chemical is negligible. Follow the steps and instructions, but if it’s not working after two tries, keep going. I seriously flushed the heads out 20-30 times each. I’d suggest warming the solution in a bowl of warm water. (And if you run out of chemical, just use distilled water, or windex. Windex and water both dry without leaving residue.) Is suggest soaking each head one at a time and flushing till it comes clean. So gently push some of the solution through (1-2mL) and let it soak for a few hours. Leave the paper towel underneath during the process. Then flush till clean. Just do it to every head. Then run a print head clean, then print a bunch of pages with text and pictures until you get the desired results. Just be patient, and be thorough.

It works - follow the instructions carefully
This product worked well. I have an Epson ET 2750 with the large tanks of ink. The magenta ink had clogged over time and running the print flush from the maintainence options did not work to clear it.I was able to flush the print head through the magenta connection at the print head using about 2ml of the solution. Afterwards, I pulled about 1mL of magenta ink from the supply tube and sent that directly into the print head the same way, in order to clear the cleaning solution and also pre-charge it again with ink. I was able to print again without problems. There is plenty of solution left over for more future cleanings, should any be needed.

Take your time
I have an Epson WF-3540 which I've loved for ages but, as with most inkjets, when they're not being used, they do dry up. After not having used the printer for months, I thought the end was nigh when I tried to print and nothing happened. So, off to Walmart for a $60 (on offer) cheaper WF-2850. I used the new printer for about three weeks and then got so upset with the difference that I decided to give my 3540 another shot and bought this kit.I'll be honest, I was expecting it to be a waste of money. It wasn't.When the kit arrives, unpack it all. The tiny wrapped bag is a set of gloves which you'll find useful. You will not find "blotting paper" in the kit, but I found that kitchen / paper towels are just as good. Additionally, the instructions aren't written in the best English so allow me to explain what I did.1. Nozzle check on the printer shows that all CMY and K (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK) needed cleaning.2. Place the printer into "cartridge replacement" mode, which moves the print head into the middle of the printer more. I'm calling this the print head: that being the unit that you push the ink cartridges into, and ultimately moves left and right along the carriage squirting ink onto paper.3. Once there, turn off the power completely and then move the carriage further along the length of the printer.4. Where the print head stopped (in (2)) fold a piece of paper towel ("blotting paper") over until it's about 2" in width (keep the length of the towel - you'll need this extra towel for absorption)5. Place the towel carefully but firmly underneath where the print head slides along the carriage6. Carefully move the print head back over the towel back to it's original resting position in (2)7. You should now have the towel underneath the print head8. Remove the cartridges (you could've done this during (2) too)9. Ascertain how you're going to get the liquid into the print head. For my printer all I needed was the syringe and the tubing, but I see the kit comes with other attachments. Work it out with a dry syringe, do not put any cleaning liquid into the syringe until you're sure how the cleaning components are going to attach to the print head. This is probably the fiddliest bit of the whole exercise. Take your time, it'll be worth it.10. When ready, draw about 1ml of the cleaning liquid into the syringe. I don't believe it needs more.11. Attach the end of the apparatus into your print head.12. Gently push the syringe plunger - this will force air (to start with) and then cleaning liquid from the syringe into the print head. There may be resistance - there probably will be - that'll be the blockage - be careful, be patient, let the liquid do it's job and hopefully you'll start to notice that the pressure gets released.13. Once things start to flow, cleaning liquid is going to be pushing ink through the print head onto the paper towel: it's the towel's job to absorb that all up, so make sure you have enough (and don't overfill the syringe). You can replace one towel with another if you're careful - when I did, my soggy towel broke, so make sure you pick up all the remaining wet pieces.14. Repeat for each print head color.15. When completed, wait at LEAST an hour for everything to dry up.16. Reassemble and then print nozzle checks and head alignments.

This helped me fix my printer
With everything going digital I stop using my printer but my daughter need it to print homework for school and when we tried to print stuff the printer would do everything but print. It would spit out blank pages. And after looking online for fixes I saw that I had clogged printer heads so I went to amazon and bought me this kit. As soon as I got it delivered I went to my printer and used it to unclog the printer heads. It was very simple to use, the instruction included in the kit are simple and easy to follow. After doing what the instructions told me to do I was printing again. It took me just a couple of minutes to do the whole process but the thing that took the longest was letting the printer dry up as the solution takes about an hour to dry. I would recommend this kit to anyone that is having problems with their printer, it sure is cheaper to buy this kit than to buy a new printer.

Issues now fixed
Had issues with my printer not printing black, and cyan. Used this to clean out the print heads. Works as described and my printer is working again. Great product! Definitely need to follow the directions and also let the print head dry several hours after using this.

HP Print Head Cleaning Kit
Using the cleaning kit helped to clear the error message on the printer but the print quality was completely degraded. It could be for the non-original ink cartridges I purchased along with the cleaning kit.
