Amethyst Mala. 108 Beads on Knotted Silk; Color: Purple

The Mala is in great shape. The SIlk cord is knotted between beads and the feel is wonderful as I chant. I also dont have to worry about the Mala breaking prematurely because of the knotting between beads. Not only is the Mala excellent, it came with a bag to store or carry it in. Thanks for the great price and great mala.

I ordered this mala knowing it was going to be on the small side but it even shocked me at how tiny the beads are I was fine with that all things considered.. But as soon as I open the the package it was already broken and beads just scattered..... All said and done not happy at all spend the money for a decent traditional mala you will be much happier

The beads are the perfect size, and they are definitely genuine amethyst... But I have to rate this purchase at no more than a 3 for a couple reasons. First, the little tassel at the end of the cord was all kinked and messed up from being cramed in the little plastic bag it arrived in (inside the packaging) and I had to all but completely cut it off. I was expecting something .. Softer, for the tassel.And second... I admire that there are little knots between each bead, much like a string of pearls, should something ever happen and the cord break you don't have little beads EVERYWHERE!! But... The little knots at the end of the beads on either side of the tassel have somehow come undone and the threads are starting to break little by little... And I don't believe I have access to anything to restring the necklace should it actually break!Keeping fingers crossed and hoping it stays intact! Should it actually break I won't be purchasing another from this seller but browsing for better options..

I don't know for sure if these beads are amethyst but they are beautiful. You certainly can do malas on them and I did not get any black on my hands.

I really like these mala beads not only because I love amethyst but because they are small. Being small, they fit my hands very well and lay gracefully in my lap as I do my breathing meditations. I bought a jade set of mala beads and were dismayed with their size (very large). I find the smaller size beads more light-weight and nimble in my fingers. There is NO distraction only relaxed peace as I meditate.

The beads are nice, not sure if they're real amethyst or not but they have a nice color. But the tassel is pathetic. The tassel is absolutely nothing like the picture or other reviews I've seen, it's tiny and looks more like frayed string, not an actual tassel. Very disappointed, buyer beware.

These are very beautiful. I looked at a couple of youtube videos to make sure that I am using them correctly. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love this maka. The beads are very njce. I would buy from this seller again.
