Nice brass construction and fitment was very good!
What a life saver! I was completing the final plumbing on a shower and the rough in left the connections a little short after the tile was installed. These adapters fixed the problem!

Water heater plumbing repair
These sealed up fine. Threads look good, wrench pads were machined cleanly. No issues.

Don't use the "teflon tape"!
The teflon tape is crap! I used these fittings to connect my water softener lines that are female connectors to my ball valves which are female too. The teflon tape(if that is what it is) felt very soft from the beginning which concerned me but I applied it anyway and after installing the fittings they leaked heavily. I tightened more and still leaked. After tightening at much as I was comfortable and still leaking, I removed the fitting and the tape has basically disappeared from the threads. I removed all i could and used another roll of tape that was good quality and tightened it snug and no leak! If you are leaning towards this product because of the included teflon tape then think again!
