This hat is generous in size. I wear an XL motorcycle helmet, and this beret fit perfectly without breaking it in. My spouse wears a size large Motorcycle helmet, and felt that after wearing it for a time it would probably end up being too big. The Gray is not a light gray, it is more medium. The hat is not 100% wool, and out of the packaging it already looked a bit "pilled". It felt warm, but it hasn't been tested yet. The price was great, so I do think I got what I paid for and might actually get another in a different color. It's hard to find a beret in local stores any more, so this was a lucky find.

The grey Beret was somewhat small and I cannot wear it. The black and the brown ones fit perfect.

For the price, it's good. It's a tad bigger than I would like, but it will do to replace my old beret.

Although I like this beret, it is not as advertised. The write up states it is 100% wool; however the tag inside the beret says 20% wool.
