Definitely not just for jewelry!
These 3M Trizact abrasives are fantastic for sharpening knives, scissors, and other cutting tools on the JOOLTOOL. Use them after more aggressive abrasives, such as the purple 3M cubitron ceramic cutting discs, and before either polishing with the felt wheel dressed with JOOLTOOL’s excellent polishing compound and then buffing with the original cotton buff, or polishing and buffing in one step with the new JOOLTOOL “magic” polishing buff, whose fibers contain a small amount of polishing compound that leaves no residue. There are many other uses for these Trizact abrasives when working with metal, whether jewelry or even stainless steel baking pans or countertops. High quality abrasives for a versatile, high performing tool.Note: The reviewer who complained that these didn’t work for his woodworking applications clearly didn’t understand that Trizact abrasives are designed to be used with metal, not wood.

Good product, but
I am a wood turner and this item is not much use for turning tools. The item is for the Jooltool and is probably good for jewels.I din't find a use for this item
