Really like the jars. They are really well made and a good size. Great for a beginner to picking and fermenting.

Sturdy, nice looking and useful for a number of projects.
I like these jars. I made refrigerator pickles with one and using the second for my new batch of sourdough. Sturdy, small footprint. Well packaged. Just like the picture.

Easy Fermentation
I've been fermenting fresh produce for a while using old jars, and wanted some wide mouth, easy to use units for my peppers and cucumbers. I saw these Glass Fermenter Wide Mouth Lid jars and had to give them a go. I'm not sure how effective the thermometer is, but they're nice to have and don't fall off like some other reviewers have mentioned. It is also good to not have to worry about an airlock. These are solid glass jars and the lids screw on securely while letting gas escape without having to burp them daily. They're easy to clean and hold a lot of produce. As seen in the photo, I currently have peppers and cucumbers fermenting. I look forward to trying out kimchi and sauerkraut in the future.~ Kort

I think it's awesome, but not sure...not enough info.
I saw a YouTube video where a guy making hot sauce was fermenting with these jars.I bought a set of two and they are very heavy duty and very nice looking. I did two ferments and I think they came out really good. I'm worried about my pickled green beans, but my carrots came out really nice.I AM A NOVICE IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD WITH FERMENTING, HOWEVER, I did a side by side with a mason jar and traditional airlock lid. I think these did better...There is not enough info on using these, and I have looked everywhere on the internet.I am going to buy a second set so I can experiment further. I do like the concept, and I thing they are a great value for the materials presented.

Quick way to start fermenting
I have used other types of fermentation jars and lids. These are the easiest to use. They are definitely the easiest to clean. Great way to start for the novice and can build to several jars with various fermentation choices.Help your gut and make your own fermented condiment.

Mixed feelings
I like the big size and the glass jars. I'm not crazy about the lid as I have found tiny bits of the red plastic in my food! Also, I didn't realize that the thermometer was not affixed and made a bit at a mess as the thermometer fell out as I tipped the jar.

Pretty good
Work great. Fermenting tabasco sauce for 3 weeks so far and no mold or yeast growth. Tight seal, perfect size.
