I Love These!
My husband and I have decided to skip the sippy cups & go straight to straws and cups with our son who is now 7 months old. These cups are perfect for teaching our little guy. They are cute, a nice size for his hands, and the lids fit nicely. I have tipped them upside down & some liquid comes out the straw (I think it's whatever was in the straw because a few drops come out & then it stops). I have run them through the dishwasher & they are still bright & in good shape. The straws are very sturdy. The only thing I can see wearing out is the portion on the lid that the straw pokes through, but mine is still holding up so far. These are a great price & are working nicely at teaching my son to drink from a straw. I will buy more of these once we've moved from practicing to actually giving him drinks, but that won't be for awhile. I highly recommend these cups.*Edit 3/05/13* We still use these on a daily basis & are still on the first 3-pack we purchased. I have not had to replace any parts & they are holding up perfectly with the daily use as well as hand washing & dish washing. Even the design on the cup is still just like new. I have tried others just to get a different design/color scheme, but none work like these. My issue with others is that the suction is so strong, liquid creeps from the cup, up the straw & out when not in use. I don't have that issue with these cups. They have been a life saver. Highly recommended.

Perfect for young toddlers
We love these cups! We introduced these cups to our 15 month-old twins as an alternative to the Tilty Cup (excellent sippy cup). After several weeks of using them, here is our pros and cons list:PROS-Practical - We wanted a cup that could help them practice using a bendable straw.Leak proof - These cups barely leak (as long as the disposable straws are thick enough for the hole in the lid). Of course, if your child is like mine they will turn it over and pour the water out through the straw.Durability- The plastic is pretty durable; there is a slight give when you squeeze the sides, but my kids haven't crushed the cup (yet).Cleaning- Top rack dishwasher safe.Price - Inexpensive.CONS-None

Great cup!
When I decided to start a straw sippy for my son, I reviewed all the options available, saw them in person & I agree to the fact that the non-spill cups that are in the market are indeed difficult for the kids to drink from..My 14 month old as it is was under treatment for an ear infection, so i din't to trouble his ears more with a difficult sippy cup...I found the first years sippy with disposable straws..and I simply love it! My son just took 5 mins to get used to it! What is more satisfactory is the fact that he drinks more from this as compared to his other sippys and to add to it...you can get a pack of fun straws from walmart for just a buck and replace them daily...the straws that come with it are not flexible, so i buy it from walmart. All in all a great product without frills!!!

Best take and toss cups
I don't know what it is exactly but these are nicer quality that the solid color Take N Toss cups. The lids stays put pretty well and they work great for my toddler. I like them a lot but the price on Amazon is really high. I found these on another site for $5 a pack.

Good sip cup
My 16 month old just started using this the other day. I like it because it's easy to suck out of the straw. The only problem right now is that he like to take the straw out and it's very difficult to place it back in because it requires some effort and very good coordination. So he walks around playing with the straw. With that being said, I think this item is age appropriate for any kid over the age of 2. Before that, it's too frustrating. But it does seal very well and seems like a high quality product. My son will definitely be using this as he gets older.

Overall good
I was a little disappointed that it did not actually come with the hippo cup shown. My son loves hippos. Instead it came with 3 caterpillar cups. He still ended up loving the design and loves the alphabet, and they work great, so I’m satisfied with what I did receive, but I wish I would’ve received what was shown in the photo.

Perfect for my 7 month old
This is the best straw cup I have found for my seven month old. He doesn't like sippy cups but knows how to use a straw. This cup has a very basic design with a plastic lid that snaps and a thick plastic straw. They are simple and light-weight. Although advertised as "take and toss" cups, they can withstand repeated use and are dishwasher safe. These are supposedly designed for children over 18 months, but my son loves these cups. For pictures and more details, I wrote about our experience on "How to Feed a Henry" at [...]

Five Stars
Excellent straw cup, the lid closes securely so no leakage unless the cup is completely turned upside down.

Kids' favourite
This sippy cup is fav. Of my lo. It is spill free cup whose lid can't be open by kids by their own. Got 3 sets of cup n its 3 lids and only one single straw. It is made of plastic that's y i don't want to use it much but my lo just love it so i give it only once in a day. It is good for transition from sipper to straw cups.
