GudVanilla Flame Natural Body Lotion, 8 Fluid Ounces

Had I known that this product had actually been discontinued YEARS ago, I probably wouldn't of bought this. The price was great, the expired vanilla smell, goes away when you get about half way through the bottle. It would be a great, lightweight lotion for summer. Though, I'm not sure how they are getting a way with selling an overly expired product on here.

It was at best ok I wouldnt purchase it again for a few reasons. First the smell it faint and i like scents that tend to linger 5 minutes after I put this on I couldnt smell or feel it. I'm an extremely dry person. I'd die without lotions and chapstick so for me this lotion wasnt thick enough. I'd compare it more to a cheap off brand thin light smell type lotion. That surprised me considering the name. That made me expect a bit more of the product.

The first thing you notice when first using this lotion, is its wonderful fragrance which is almost like an aromatherapy experience. It's fresh and clean, with a calming and pleasant scent. All too often, when you purchase moderately-priced beauty products is that the fragance smells like something created in a chemist's laboratory. Gud Vanilla Flame body lotion smells like an actual vanilla bean, natural and fresh. The lotion itself is the perfect consistency--neither too watery, or overly-thick. There's almost nothing worse than a body lotion that feels like it is coating your skin and takes forever to absorb, and Gud manages to strike the perfect balance. Because the fragrance is not flowery or overly intense, even our teenage son doesn't complain when we apply it to his dry skin. You can easily spend a great deal more on body lotion, but Gud Vanilla Flame offers great value for the price, and I can highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the scent of this body wash, im a big fan of anything natural and this product is amazing. Not only does my skin feels smooth but i know i'm not using anything harmful to my body. The package came and a little spilled out , that's really the only thing negative i have to say the product just needs to be secured better in the package. I would definitely buy again great smell and makes my body feel fresh and clean and seems to enhance the natural the natural beauty of the skin your in .

I am very familiar with Burt’s Bees and so from the moment I ordered it, I was already confident I would like this lotion. The first thing that caught my attention was that the Gud product line is all naturel. No parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. I am also someone who doesn’t exactly like to wear a lotion that makes me smell like a cheap perfume barrel OR is so strong I get a headache from simply applying it! This lotion smells amazing and is suttle enough to be pleasent yet just enough scent to get someones attention but not send them into the next room! The lotion is very agree-able to my skin, absorbs quickly and after 7 hours, my hands feel softer then they have in a long time. I highly reccomend this line of lotion and will readily buy it again.

I bought this just because I dig the smell of the shampoo so much. It smells different... a little peppery almost... and I disliked it the first time I put it on. The strength of the smell wears off quickly though and it becomes more subtle and sweet rather quickly. After that I decided I like it but it still does not smell quite so magical as the shampoo does. Similarly, it appears to go on a little thickly when you first put it on but it absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft but not greasy or scratchy (as bath and body works lotion tends to make me feel greasy and lotions from victoria secret make me feel scratchy)

It's ok. Really watery, doesn't smell like vanilla, I can't figure out what it smells like, it's not gross but not particularly pleasant either. My skin gets really dry as the weather gets colder and this stuff really doesn't help, might be adequate for someone with normal skin. I won't be buying it again.

I love love love this lotion ! My skin is very dry and this lotion makes my skin so soft ! I was delighted with the price also !
