Favorite rods in my home
I have 7 of these in my family room full of windows. Simple and elegant design. The brackets are graceful and not utilitarian like most other curtain rod brackets. Price is better than box store brands.

Nice look
Very nice curtain rod, we have it expanded to 120", at this length when you mount the rod it feels and looks like it will bow, but with the supplied center support it holds our heavy black out curtains nicely. No sagging at all, even when opening and closing the curtains. Other reviewers have mentioned that the top screws don't go in straight, its true! The bracket design makes it difficult to get them in straight. But while mine angled in, a right angle screw driver mounted them flush with the bracket. I have no issues with that at all. Everything is color matched so unless you're looking for it you won't really see it. Mine mounted nicely and are very sturdy.Three brackets are provided and extend 4.75" from the wall and are about 2.75" tall(mounting flange) and are made of some type of cast metal. My only suggestion get better screws, the ones provided deform pretty easy. The rods fit into each other pretty snugly with no excess play between the pieces. Overall they were better than what I could find locally.

Nice curtain rods.
I ordered four of these curtain rods, two of the long ones & two short ones. They look nice & were easy to install; the directions were very clear, even telling you what size drill bit for the pilot holes for the screws. The middle of the rods wanted to sag a little when put together & hung. There was a plastic piece (kind of like shower curtain rods have) but it didn’t stay in place & went up inside the wider rod & didn’t prevent the sagging. I used some black electric tape to thicken the opening & that took care of it. These curtain rods were reasonably priced & overall I am pleased with this purchase & would recommend them.

Sturdy & attractive, but not perfect!
The actual bar was thicker than I expected since i've purchased the shorter version of this product for my living room windows & the rod was much thiner in that case. It makes sense as it's a longer set & seems very sturdy.Mounting brackets (three brackets) & screws are included. The reason i'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mounting brackets have bit of a design flaw. The design is a little off, the curve of the bar makes it difficult to use any size screw driver (I even tried a tiny one!) or a power tool during install for the top of the mounting bracket, although the lower screw driver hole is unobstructed & does not have that issue. The mounting brackets are attractive & match the set, the curvature just comes up high enough to give you minimal room to try to install. It forces you to drive the screw in at a bit of an angle but that's not the end of the world. Poor design but it's still functional and can be done. I'm a twenty-something woman with minimal experience in this sort of thing. I like to think of myself as pretty capable, it's not hard to do, just being upfront about my experience & the design of the bracket. I've seen other reviewers complain about this but it does not make the brackets included unusable. Drive them in at a bit of an angle & you'll be fine, they still hold up fine. I certainly didn't expect perfection for the price, anybody would be naïve to think that they would expect superior quality and design for a product at this price. The only issue I could foresee is if you're having to drive through a stud which I did not have to do. Even then, if you had to buy another bracket set, the rod itself is just fine! The rod itself is thick & nice. It feels heavy & sturdy, also slides well to expand the size, which worked perfectly for me! It's used over a set of sliding doors to my backyard to help block out sun to insulate the room from the sun streaming in. Since it's to our backyard, the curtains get drawn and opened a dozen times a day to let our dogs out. We have four dogs, two large (Pit/Lab mix & a Husky mix) & two small (dachshunds) who jump on the curtain, consequently putting weight & pressure on the rod, but the rod has held up great for this! We've had it up for about two weeks now with absolutely zero issues.Overall i'm very pleased with the purchase, although the design of the mounting bracket isn't ideal, it still holds up fine & you can't tell the difference once it's completely installed. I would definitely recommend it despite the brackets being imperfect, it's a great deal & quality for the price. You get what you pay for & despite the brackets, I think it's very high quality for what I paid!

Great rod for heavy curtains
Great curtain rod for heavy, thermal curtains. We needed to get thermal curtains for our living room. We had to cover an area of 106" wide x 84" high. We found some great thermal panel curtains on Amazon and they paired the curtains with this rod. I liked the look of the rod as the bronze color on the outside of the rod matched the grommets on the curtain. It turns out the pairing was perfect. The rod is very sturdy and telescoping. It's 1" diameter supports the curtains and looks nice and not flimsy. They come with everything you will need to mount your rod immediately. I loved the brackets that came with the rod, but we weren't able to use them as we needed the rod to extend beyond already existing vertical blinds. We had to purchase adjustable brackets, but I'm hoping I can use the decorative brackets that came with this rod for another window.

Beautiful & Sturdy
I wanted something simple, that would hold a little heavier curtain, this could hold a couple of the curtains I bought. Very sophisticated looking in my dinning room, and very easy to install above a 72" sliding glass door. For mine, 3 simple bars that slid into each other, for strength, then screw on the ends - voila! , it's done. Advice if you're installing alone: push the bars into each other, to the length you want, before you get on a stepladder, put a piece of tape to hold them in place. Once installed, remove your tape (they slide easily, and if no one is there to help, the tape trick works).
