I’m a big fan of the Miz so I really enjoyed the DVD. Hadn’t seen some of the matches for a while and some I’d never seen. I was very happy.

The Most Watched WWE Superstar Of All Time...Or So He Says.
He was the ex-reality star that was undesirable by the fans & his peers to the point where he was kicked out of the locker room for months but over time became undeniable to the point he had at one time held every possible WWE Championship, main evented WrestleMania, star of his own movie series & reality show in a career that's lasted over a decade among other accomplishments & moments with some of them highlighted here in "The Miz: A-List Superstar" as you'll hear from Miz throughout the presentation along with various matches & other moments including the first MizTV with Roman Reigns & his surprise appearance at the Manhattan Center for RAW 25.Matches Include:vs. DSW Heavyweight Champion Mike Knox - Miz came into this match with his knee in a brace as he worked over the arm early with a series of armdrags & armbars before Knox heavily focused on an area of the body using parts of the ring along with power offense & strikes along with later focusing on the injured knee as Miz tried to fight back but showing effects of his injured & weakened areas with it coming down to one man being able to take advantage of distractions."Deep South Wrestling" Dec. '05vs. Rene Dupree - Miz came in as one half of the OVW Tag Team Champions as he attempted to keep a quick pace but Dupree kept catching & grounding him only for Miz to eventually catch him in an unfortunate position in a very quick match."Ohio Valley Wrestling" Feb. '06w/John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio & Shawn Michaels - It should be noted that not only was this the first time HBK & Mysterio had teamed together but both teams were also on opposing Survivor Series teams as Mysterio & HBK were able to keep outquicking their opponents early with double team & dual offense both on the mat & in the air while Miz & Morrison singled out one opponent from their partner & neutralized their opponent's speed by grounding him & working over the midsection in a non-stop action match."RAW" Nov. '08[Allied Powers: World's Greatest Tag Teams]Money In The Bank Ladder Match vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry vs. John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Evan Bourne - This match was different than the earlier ladder match in that it had more brawling in the match but still had various moments such as Mark Henry "parting the red sea" with two ladders, Maryse making an attempt to climb the ladder, John Morrison having an innovative way to get on the ladder to stop Edge & eventually getting trapped between an open ladder, Mark Henry delivering various World's Strongest Slams along with Randy Orton giving out RKO's out of nowhere, Henry dropping Miz on top a ladder...that was on top of Chris Jericho, Henry being taken out thanks to a series of signature moves, up to 5 men climbing up a ladder at once, Orton delivering an RKO right before being on the receiving end of Air Bourne, Edge's nasty fall off a ladder onto another open ladder...that was upside down, and the aftermath with the winner breaking character by getting real emotional.Money In The Bank '10[The Ladder Match 2: Crash & Burn; Straight To The Top: The Money In The Bank Anthology]United States Championship Match vs. Daniel Bryan - As it's become in the past few months whenever The Miz or Bryan is involved in a match, if you get annoyed by Michael Cole then turn the volume on MUTE as he once again goes into heavy "heel" mode here while Miz came out with his ex-NXT rookie from season two in Alex Riley. Bryan went for his LaBell lock early before Miz went working over Bryan's arms & shoulders with various armbars & a shoulderbreaker straight out of the pages of "Arn Anderson" according to Matt Striker. Bryan was able to regain momentum with a suicide dive onto Miz on the outside before both men had a dueling fist fight against each other. Bryan ended up getting crotched on the top rope before Miz was able to deliver a clothesline off the top rope that landed Bryan on the top of his head. Riley got involved as expected but that didn't stop Bryan as he ended up pulling off a victory that not only had Michael Cole upset but Miz in tears.Night Of Champions '10[Superstar Collection: Daniel Bryan; Daniel Bryan: YES! YES! YES!]vs. WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. The Miz - Randy Orton had just defeated Wade Barrett in a rematch from the previous night at Survivor Series but injured his knee before the match due to an attack by Nexus & showing effects of it afterwords when The Miz decided to cash in his title shot."RAW" Nov. '10[Best Of RAW 2010; Blu-Ray of Straight To The Top: The Money In The Bank Anthology]WWE Championship Match vs. John Cena - This was one of those matches that started slow but picked up the pace with moments like Alex Riley getting involved, Cena executing his legdrop from the top from a distance while both kicked out of the others finishers including an "A.A." that hasn't been as impactful since back when he started doing the move as the "F.U." almost a decade ago. The way the match originally finished was a bit hokey (although Miz's head took a nasty bump on the floor that gave him a concussion) leading to the appearance & involvement of the one guy you expected to get involved for weeks. This match never left first gear but then went downhill with everything leading to the finish & afterwords which we found out the next night (along with all the remarks between the two for the past month) was just to setup next year's WrestleMania main event.WrestleMania XXVIIvs. Intercontinental Champion Christian - Bret Hart was the special ring announcer for this match with Christian taking high risk in the opening minute only to hurt himself & kept showing the effects throughout the match executing his signature offense including continuing to leave his feet while Miz took advantage of the injury using areas of the ring to his advantage along with catching him on more than one occasion in a solid match."RAW 1000" July '12Intercontinental Championship Match vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens - This started off with a bang as one man did something right at the opening bell that made everyone freeze for a few seconds before the action picked up with all four interacting their other opponents from one on one to all four together throughout different times leading to such highlights as aerial offense landing on more than one opponent, a Tower Of Doom powerbomb, two men very obsessed with each other throughout the match, who's strategy was to pick the bones of his opponent's work, very unique counters executed, and one of the one of the longest giant swings ever in the match that stole the show as it was non-stop action with one big move after another.Extreme Rules '16Intercontinental Championship/Ladder Match vs. Dolph Ziggler - Both men were trading the Intercontinental Championship for months leading to this match where it was Dolph's final title shot as the match went to the floor early with the ladder used both as a weapon & to make regular offense more impactful while executing maneuvers that ended up hurting not only their opponent but themselves as well as a ladder was scaffold in the corner between the ropes allowing bodies to be thrown into it & dove off it before one superstar was able to finally able to focus on a part of the body using the ladder to do damage directly to that part & utilize in offense to that area to the point where you saw the effects while his opponent was able to take advantage of a situation allowing his opposition to get hurt in a ladder match that wasn't about "highlight reels" more than a fight using a ladder."T.L.C.: Tables, Ladders, Chairs" Dec. '16vs. Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns - Miz had a quick confrontation with someone on his way to the ring as Roman was easily able to keep overpowering & catching him early on dominating with his signature offense causing Miz to rely on shortcuts with distractions & using the environment to his advantage along with using his opponent's momentum against him in a solid match."RAW" Jan. '18w/Asuka vs. Bobby Roode & Charlotte Flair - It should be noted that not only was this the finals of the first Mixed Match Challenge series which Miz & Asuka were undefeated in but Flair & Asuka were also set to have their WrestleMania match later in the week which played out early with both women locked up & refused to let up even when they rolled to the outside as each person had an opportunity to showcase themselves as Miz worked over a body part, Asuka displaying her strong strikes, Flair with her signature chops & top rope maneuvers, Roode himself leaving his feet & having offense working over an area of the body while the opposite sex physically interacted with each other more than once in a fun tag match."Mixed Match Challenge" Apr. '18vs. Daniel Bryan - Miz's wife Maryse was sitting in the front row as Miz was able to deliver a cheap shot early on along with continuing to use Bryan's own trademark offense as his own only for Bryan to immediately return the favor while fulfilling on his promise of what he's wanted to do for years to Miz as both men would utilize similar offense from submission to coming off the top rope as Miz continued to use his opponents' offense as it own only for Bryan to demand more & returning it while Miz was able to use his momentum against him & take advantage of his environment as they continued to trade submissions & strikes in a back & forth match.SummerSlam '18[Best PPV Matches 2018]w/Shane McMahon vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar - Miz's father was sitting in the front row as Shane went right after them at the bell causing The Bar to use illegal tactics while returning the physicality eventually singling out one opponent from his partner constantly cutting off the tag & grounding him with double team maneuvers while Miz & Shane were able to use their opponents against each other along with taking some high risk that didn't always pay off in a fun match.Royal Rumble '19Falls Count Anywhere Match vs. Shane McMahon - Miz's father was in the front row with Shane playing an early game of "cat & mouse" using whatever he could to get the advantage before some outside involvement caused Shane to have a reaction that only fueled up Miz throwing Shane against & hitting him with whatever he could as the match fought through the crowd back against an area that we've always seen on PPV's but never utilized during the action before including sending him falling over several feet bouncing off a hood on the way down with the fight continuing to greater heights before one man sacrificed himself just to hurt his opponent only for it to not pay off as intended in the end in a fun match.WrestleMania 35The negatives with this DVD set are that the WWE Network already has a collection set of Miz with a majority of matches showcased on that list on this set along with the fact that this was a 2 disc set instead of the traditional three for a career lasting over a decade so a lot of other matches/moments/feuds were left on the cutting room floor (some championship wins & defenses, only 1 tag match with Morrison & no other tag team championship partners past Shane) while the positive I can say is that this is a set that's long overdue that I would recommend for "AWESOME" fans of the Miz.
