A-Premium Front Hood Lift Supports Shock Struts Compatible with Select Lexus Models - LS460 2007-2012, LS600h 2008-2012, Sedan - Replace # 5345050072, 5344050071 (2-PC Set)

Replaced the hood support shocks for my 2010 Lexus LS460. I saw another reviewer with the same car said it didn't fit, and was a little worried. Upon arrival the struts just needed to be adjusted so that both ball joints are perpendicular to the socket. Very easy 10 minute installation! Struts are strong and the heavy hood is lifted with nice stong force. I hope it will last. I think dealer parts are like $86 each X 2 =$172 vs $27 what I paid! Very happy about the purchase! 😃

I can't yet speak to the longevity, but I love the immediate result. Works great. Really strong lifting force. Had to prop the hood with a board to install the first one, but that first one was enough to hold it up without a prop to install the second one (and this was in 40 degree weather). Totally satisfied.

These are a pain to get on, but that's not the fault of the manufacturer. Lexus decided on pop-on joints with impossible to slide clips, but after a 15 minute installation all was good. Still works great.

They didn't get five stars because they did not fit as well as the originals and I fear they might pop off at times when underweight. While this is not happens yet it did happen upon installation. With just the slightest hit from my hand. The originals I needed to use a flathead screwdriver to get apart. These just snap off with light finger work..

I had them installed during a service visit, but installation seemed simple; they are very strong, maybe better than OEM

Does not fit the LS 460. The attachment at the hood side is not angled like the stock part. As a result, these will not latch securely to the ball.

It was a great fit and easy to install!

Product seems to be made very well.
