Surprisingly pleased
I took a chance on this, figuring a 6-24X scope for under $50.00 was too good to be true. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality seems to be good although I suspect the mounting rings may not hold up well. I mounted it on a .30-06 and after tightening the mounts a few times, got it sighted in at 100, then 200 yards. At 24X the view is quite clear, comparable with scopes costing several hundred dollars.

Scope itself is very nice, and heavy
Came packaged very well, and 2 days early. Scope itself is very nice, and heavy. Little bigger than I estimated though. at 75m it brings up an 8" target very clear. Focus and zoom work very well. First day it endured over 300 rds with equivalent to a hot 5.56 recoil, and took it like a champ. Both the hold downs and clamps stayed tight. Also, it was almost zero'd right out of the box, 2" low at 75m.

You won't be disappointed!
So rad. Looks great, feels really sturdy. Mine's mounted on a .308, and it's held 0 very well over a few trips to the range. The illuminated reticles are bright and sharp, and zoom is clear. Can't believe these are as cheap as they are for what you get. Were I a military sniper, would I get one of these? No. But if you're a once-a-month range visitor, who shoots at pigs every now and again, you can't go wrong.

Blown away by the quality
It took me months to "pull the trigger" on buying this scope because I figured at that price it had to be garbage. I was wrong.I love the illumination, massive zoom, lots of fun knobs to turn AND the optics are much more clear and adjustable than I anticipated. It's also well fitted and sturdy enough to handle a .243The only problems I had were not the scope's fault but my Remington 700's fault. The rear sight mount was too high for the objective lens to clear so that had to come off and the bolt handle barely makes contact with the nub on the magnification dial when it's at 18x.9 out of 10 cool points in my book.(I'll round up to 5 stars though)

Daaaaaaaannnnngggggg good
I know my 24x zoom isn't the best pic through it but I had really unsteady hands. I took it out to 600yds and the infinity focus works great and is still clear. I mean really clear. This is about a 200-250 scope realistically. I'm not a snob but I generally run better things on my own rifles this was a project build for my little brothers first gun so I threw on cheap parts for him to replace himself and earn pride in it. But I doubt he'll replace this at all (or at least for a few years haha)

but first impressions are very good. Lightweight
Just got it but it seems well made, clear view and very cheap price. Have not tried it yet to see if it holds zero, but first impressions are very good. Lightweight!

Looks like it will work fine
Didn't need this scope but I bought it. Got it for $36. with rings, lens covers and five batteries! Now I want to get another rifle to try it out. Looks like it will work fine. Surprised how clear it is even on 24 power. Maybe never use the red and green reticle. Don't think I'll ever pay more than $100 for a scope again. Prairie dogs watch out!

So far so good on a 308 win bolt action
I got this for my Remington 700 in 308 win. It came with its own set of mounting rings, I did not use them. I had a set of Burris rings, so I was using those instead. The front section of the tube fit in the ring fine, but the rear section of the tube didn't fit in the rings. The tube was slightly bigger than the ring. I then tried it with the rings that came with the scope, still same result, the rear tube section was just a hair too big. I know my Burris rings work fine, because I used it for another scope before. Given that this scope is not expensive, I put the Burris rings back on, just started tightening the screws down, that forced the scope to fit in the rings. So it's all good.I took my rifle to the range over the weekend to zero it at 50 yards. It is very easy to sight in. Took me a total of 8 shots to get shots at 50 yd within 1". The 1" MOA is due to my skills(or lack of) not able to hold the gun perfectly straight. Ran a total of 30 shots with the scope. And I'm pretty impressed. Some reviews said the aim at different magnification is different, I've tried magnifications at 6, 8, 12, 14, 20, the aim is the same. So no issue there.Another issue some reviews mentioned is that at 18x, the nob will block the bolt handle on the bolt action. I can see how that can be the case. However, I used 2 mounting plates on my 700, and with the Burris medium rings, the bolt handle clears the 18x nob by about 1mm. So for my setup, that is not an issue.I'll do more testing of this scope on the 308 win rifle and see if that holds up.If you are a casual shooter, and wanted something inexpensive, I'd say give this one a try.
