IOGEAR USB 2.0 Booster Extension Cable, 39 Feet, GUE2118 , black

I purchased two of the IOGear GUE2118's to remotely mount a USB radio receiver at the top of my 30-foot antenna mast. These products perform exactly as specified & I am able to operate my receiver flawlessly with them at the full USB 2.0 speed. I really like the way that these extended cables interlock with each other to make a longer connection more secure. Likewise, I like the fact that these cables come with a small adapter in case your USB device does not fit in their "shrouded" USB socket (which my device suffered from, but with the included adapter, no problem at all !!). I would highly recommend the IOGear GUE2118 for anyone looking to connect a remote USB device beyond the limited USB length specification.

So I bought this to run from my entertainment center on the other side of the room all the way back to where I usually sit and play games. I plugged in an 8-way splitter and have my USB keyboard, my PS3 controllers, and multiple USB devices plugged in. Everything works great no loss in the distance or of data transfer for me. I have all my game saves and backups on USB, I have all my controllers charging as I play never even using the internal batteries, and I can use my keyboard for web browsing w/o unhooking anything. This also works great for my computer tower for when I want to do some typing from across the room. Overall I love this product and wonder how I got by before without it.

This USB 2.0 extension works perfectly. It extended a Bluetooth adapter to the other side of my garage, closer to the wall adjoining the location where I use my Bluetooth headset. The booster capability built into the cable seems to maintain the integrity of the vocal quality. The cable meets my needs.

I think most people use this thing to connect game controllers to consoles. However, I used it to connect my high-power wireless access point to my computer, and it worked great. I needed to locate the WAP far away from the machine, in order to get the best Wifi reception. This thing did the trick perfectly. Other options for running USB over a long distance were much more costly, but this turned out to be a great, inexpensive solution.

Best solution for the Xbox 360 Kinect. Was able to do a run of 30 feet which i was unable to do with the official Xbox 360 "special" Kinect cable. Only downside is that it will not power the Kinect, you must find a local outlet. Clips are very good as well and will keep it tight if you must drag it through a ceiling or wall.

Cable extender met my expectations for improving the home network signal. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a cable to boost the home network signal.

Retaining clip snapped off with barely any force. It's meant to hold onto the cable to prevent them from becoming separated under tension, but the slightest amount of tension immediately broke it. The actual tech works fine though and reasonably happy with it.

I use a USB 3.0 cable to connect my CMOS camera that is looking through my telescope to my laptop. I need to be able to look at real-time images on the laptop, and save files at set intervals. This 33 foot cable seems to perform as well as a 6 foot cable, allowing me to locate my laptop under my patio, where it is typically warmer than what it is where the telescope is.
