A good story -- if you don't already own it ... but you'd better double-check.
I read the early Draycott Abbey paranormal romances as MMPBs years ago, and remembered them fondly. They're a well-written mix of themes like ghosts, reincarnation, and extrasensory perception; emotional and passionate romance; and action/suspense.Therefore, I was happy when I saw on Bookbub that book 3 (Bride of the Mist) was currently free; I naturally clicked through and bought it.When that page also showed HotR, book 1, for just 99¢, I went to it, but despite not seeing an Amazon alert saying "You purchased this item on {date}," a tickle in the back of my mind warned me to double check (before paying) that I didn't already own it. I thought I'd bought a couple Christina Skye romances as e-books a while ago, and sure enough, when I searched for Skye in Manage Your Content & Devices, HotR was already there, bought *free* in February, as <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E257HP0>, shown now as "Not currently available for purchase." I apparently now also own *two* e-copies (different versions? The cover art's the same) of BotM.In short, the new product pages are not linked to the old ones in your purchase history, and the old ones' pages are just ~fossils~.

Another winner from Christina Skye
I've been reading Ms Skye's books for the past 20 years or so. I've enjoyed every one I've read. This one was fast paced, interesting, and free of typos. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a glaring error on page 11 that shouldn't have happened. A 30-second Google search would have prevented it. Kelly is at an Anasazi dig in Arizona. They lived in the northernmost part of the state near the Utah border. She looked out her window and saw saguaro cactuses (should have been cacti). Saguaros don't grow anywhere near the Anasazi area, they're native to the Sonoran desert. Kind of like sticking a redwood forest in Kansas. To many readers this probably isn't a big deal at all, but if it had been an author I was unfamiliar with I would have quit reading, assuming that the entire book would be filled with similar errors.

Great book
I love mystery in books and this gave it to me in spades. A psychic heroine coupled with a tall task and dangerous hero is a recipe for success. It was a bit hard to keep up at first with the time travel back and forth but soon I fell in love with all the characters and was rooting for a happy ending. I like that this book can be a stand alone with just enough of a teaser at the end to make me want to read more. Well done. You won't regret reading this one. Happy reading.

A fun read
This was a fun read with plenty of action and romance. The characters are compelling and there’s enough paranormal stuff to add interest without taking away from the realistic aspects of the story.

LOVE THIS SERIES!
I've read every book in this series and love them all. There is a ghost and a bit of paranormal, so be warned about that. There is always a wonderful romance as well. And Scotland - can't forget Scotland! These books all stand alone - but I'm not sorry I read them in order, even though it isn't necessary. Some minor characters (like the ghost) recur and I appreciate that. All in all, I highly recommend it!
