Boris Wild Marked Deck - Blue Bicycle Deck for Magic Tricks

Great quality, only complaint is that when I tried to order another deck they were out of stock with no info as to when or if it will be available.

I have no complaints about the product. However, it is important to note that these are maiden back cards. I bought a set from here because the pic I saw clearly showed a rider back box. The original BWMD were on rider back and I know that USPCC now forbids marked rider backs, I was just taking a shot hoping maybe these were some back stock. They were not. I feel like the price is too steep for maiden backs. The BW marking system is not worth that much more than other options. I hope this helps. Best wishes.

The Boris Wild markings are so hidden that they meld into the Maiden Back design! At first, I thought the manufacturer had sent me an unmarked deck by mistake :0). Then I slowly recognized the markings only to lose them from time to time when performing an illusion using this deck. While no deck markings system is perfect, this deck system comes close. Just be aware that use of the deck will require practice and sharp eye, trained eye. Need I say more?

Just opened this deck and was terribly disappointed. Each card has a bold highly evident number on it from zero to 13. A few of the numbers manage to hide in the background, the 2 and 3 are pretty good. But the double digit numbers have the one actually printed in the border, while the entire rest of the border is blank. Your eye goes straight to it. Anybody would notice unless they were blind. I thought the cards would have intelligent marks, something it might take a while to learn to read, but that would do what it's really supposed to do and be discrete. These cards are a joke, maybe good for a five year old doing magic tricks in kindergarten.

This is not a toy. It is a special deck for magicians and requires practice and a good routine to make use of it. It is a great deck and if used correctly, the performer can work card miracles.

This deck is very good, especially for beginning magicians. The markings are very easy to read as long as you can see the edge of the card. However, it is in an old style of Bicycle box, which is a bit peculiar. Relatedly, the backs of the cards are slightly darker than other decks, but no layman would ever notice that. For this reason, I suggest that if you do a trick involving two decks, one of which is marked, you use a blue deck as the other one. Overall, the best marked deck on the market, in my opinion.

The markings on the back of the cards are numerical, where: 1 = Ace 0 =10 2 thru 9 is are same as card number.11 = Jack, 12 = Queen, 13 = King.The leading 1 on the Jack, Queen and King is hard to read,thus causing misreads as being an Ace, 2 or 3.The suit (Spades, Clubs, Hearts & Diamonds)are indicated by the LOCATION of the number on the back of the card.(See my photos)This can make reading the marks take too long.There is also a small mark in the upper left of the back of the cards,near the right arm of the corner angel, to make the card back designasymmetrical.

I know this is the best marked deck, especially for the aged persons like me who has OLD EYES.Wish you can supply cheaper!
