Nothing extraordinary here, just the exact part i was expecting. It worked great , and the computer came back to life.

The power supply works as advertised. I was happy to see that all of the connectors were available. The fan is a bit noisy but the unit runs cool. Took less than 15 minutes to install.

Incredible big noise and my computer stopped working after using this power supply for a few times. When I tried to return the part the seller said this purchasing can not be returned. I sent email asking for solution but got to no avail.

Really loud, but not in the way you'd expect. It sounds exactly like a small vacuum, and has a loud medium-pitched whine/drone that sounds like a drill or something. Very annoying for a desktop computer that's like 2 feet from your head. Also, most of the screw holes didn't line up in the s3100y I put it in, and bizarrely, the holes are too small for standard thumb screws. I had to spend like 20 minutes forcing a thumb screw into the one hole that lined up with the case. I've been using it for 2 days and it seems like after a few hours the medium-pitch whine grew even louder. I'll update this review if this thing ends up just failing...That said, it was delivered in one business day so I guess props to the seller for that.

Perfect in every aspect, including keeping my PC a lot cooler the whole day. Much better power supply than original unit, including much more power in half the size.

Worked great to fix my computer but one of the wires was not long enough to reach even though it says it works for my computer. Had to decide to not plug in the CD drive to make it work.
