Dischidia platyphylla is an intriguing exotic plant which in nature provides ants with housing in return for nutrition and protection from insects. This ant plant blooms with yellow-white, urn-shaped flowers. It is a climbing plant with many twigs. Does well as a climber, in a hanging basket or in a terrarium.
