There’s not a ton to say other than—it works, and it works really well. I couldn’t be happier with this carpet cleaning solution. It lifts stains, freshens up the fibers, and leaves the carpet looking noticeably better without any strong chemical smell or residue. I’ve tried a few different cleaners over the years, but this one stood out for how straightforward and effective it is. No fuss, no gimmicks—just a solid product that gets the job done. This will definitely be my go-to from now on.

Pros - cleans well on dirty carpet, smells pleasant, goes a long way in my Hoover carpet cleaner. I tried all kinds of carpet sprays, powders, etc. on some dark high-traffic areas on a super-light almost white carpet and none worked. So I had a professional carpet cleaner come in ($325), but to my surprise he left most high traffic areas maybe only 75% better, but you could still see the dirty areas from all the footy traffic. So I tried a Hoover carpet machine (bought off Amazon, $120, 100% pleased), and actually got the carpet much cleaner than the professional using this cleaning solution. To be fair, he was only here once, and I had to go over the hi-traffic areas 3-4 times with the Hoover machine to get it really clean, but that isn't the cleaning solution's fault if a professional carpet cleaner couldn't get it clean the first time either. In the end the carpets come out as good as can be expected and in some areas are actually 100% clean now which to me is surprising, given how dirty they were. CONS - THIS IS A BIG BOTTLE AND DOESNT HAVE A POURING SIZED CAP unlike smaller versions of Hoover cleaning solutions. But it was much less expensive per fluid ounce, so I kept a smaller Hoover bottle (with pouring cap) when it was empty and fill that smaller easier to handle bottle from this one. Otherwise, it could be messy trying to get this solution into the Hoover machine's solution container if you try pouring out of this big bottle, unless maybe you use a funnel?

No wet dog smell and it smelled so fresh and cleanWhen I got done cleaning the carpet the difference was unbelievable! Works great. But, while it was drying, my room smelled like wet dog which I was not happy with. The next day when I went in the room it smelled Incredible!.

Cleans good but you need a little bit more of the product per usage to remove really dirty spots. Otherwise good and the smell is nice

I wouldn't call this a terrible-stain buster as I have a few stubborn stains that will require a more specific remedy, and I wasn't expecting this to work on that issue, but it does a great job generally in my Bissell carpet cleaner and also, as someone else mentioned, works great when applied directly at full-strength, which I did along the carpet edges with a wet rag. I then used a Bissell spot carpet cleaner to suck the water & soap out. (Otherwise, without a tool that can reach those edges, a lot of paper towels might be required to soak up the water, as another reviewer mentioned.) It did nicely conquer the 10+ years of dirt on a 20-year-old carpet. It's an old carpet, so it will never look new again, but this still freshened it up pretty nicely.I used hot water out of the tap as instructed, both in my carpet cleaner and with my wet rag.

I'm very pleased with the result of using this carpet shampoo. It easily removed the deep stains as well as cleaned the whole living room carpet beautifully. Highly recommend.

The product works great on our carpet. Only wish it came with a measuring cup cap.
