Best laptop I've had for a while
Best laptop I've had for a while, performance is great can play games and watch or listen to media with no issues. Seems to be able to handle runningultiple apps just fine. Screen quality and graphics are good. The case is sturdy, light and portable. Had for for nearly 6 months now and no issues so far. It's perfect for home use and easily portable can be taken anywhere.

Decent laptop
From all the terrible reviews it's clear this laptop with the Intel chip and non-SSD HDD performs very badly. However the Ryzen (AMD R3/R5) with 256 SSD performs well.I got the R5 variant and it's great. Boots from off to logon screen in 7 seconds. Performs well for general work /browsing / etc. It'll play some games in lower setting modes, but struggle with latest things. But then again it's not a gaming laptop so that's to be expected.Overall cheap and cheerful.4 stars purely because of the stupid placement of the power button (top right of keyboard where the delete key normally is).

Good power,with many flaws.
This product is Excellent for its power at the price point. It has 3 USB A outputs, one Type C,an ethernet port,3.5mm and more.It is a very practical laptop. However it's easier to list it's weaknesses. The default speaker volume is really quite. Third party apps have to be downloaded in order to make it usable in a environment with quiet chatter. The WiFi adapter constantly stops working. Troubleshooting and restarting network adapters is an unreliable solution. Having to use usb tethering becomes a solution, but sometimes this also stops working. Personally, only once in regular use since purchase (18 months) did this happen to me. However I would go as far as to say more than 40% of the time the WiFi adapter stops and requires tethering or a ethernet. The battery life is DREADFUl. This is expected though from the processers to the large screen. It seems that using several applications (Word, chrome and coding software) simultaneously strain the battery severely.Overall I would only reccomend this product to people who always have thethering and need strong graphical performance at this price point

Very good budget laptop/notebook
For a mid range laptop, you can't get better for the price I paid which was £399. In my opinion AMD offer much better integrated graphics than Intel which has struggled behind for years. Very fast, light weight, good screen and sound. Only negative is a poor webcam and the battery life isn't as good as other laptops out there.

rubbish laptop do not buy!
this is less than a year old and has already failed 3 times. I've had to send it back for repair and it's still freezing and losing data. Also the battery is poor and the keyboard cheap.Do not buy this !!! I am demanding my money back but Asus have very poor customer service and I can't contact anyone who will help.

Fast start up. Good battery life. Quick performance
Super fast laptop. I bought this a few months ago for general browsing and selling online, listening to music. EtcStarts up very quick and overall performance running software and apps is impressive. Hasnt slowed down really.Once fully charged i use the battery and it stays on for a good few hours without needs to be plugged in again.I would recommend buying the model with higher RAM as it feels substantially faster. Thanks

I'm impressed
When I first read the reviews I was sceptical about buying this laptop but I did anyways. After using it I was impressed. Its very fast and I'm beginning to believe that the reviews were for different models to the one I had. I played Apex Legends (though not on the high resolution settings) and Counter Strike and they both performed well. If you are going to buy this laptop buy the r5 processor variant.

quality product
I bought this Asus running Ryzen 5 processor, so that web searches were kept off my main pc. It boots up much faster than my main pc which runs an AMD 6 core processor with 8 gb of ram and separate graphics card.I had to add a wireless mouse as the touch pad is a pain and is much slower than the mouse. The build quality is excellent with its use of metal for keyboard and screen.
