Calidad indiscutible, sin embargo, a pesar de tener algo más de grosor que otras tasas similares publicadas (que también he comprado), tengo bakers de química y tasas de café similares en capacidad, con material de más grosor que este. Sugeriría que fuera algo más gruesa la confección de esta tasa.

I have had mine for a year and a half now. Other than some very faint discoloration from tea staining it's like new, including the design on the side! I have never dropped it more than a few inches and have never put it through a dishwasher but it has seen hot liquid on average of every other day. It has traveled the world. I use metal utensils to stir things in it all the time. I often accidentally set it down quite hard on hard surfaces. I have left things to dry in it. It still holds.Based on reviews and experience it seems that with any cheaper glass product like this that cant go through rigorous glass stress QC, especially one that's had a handle added, imperfections are possible. You have the chance of receiving one that might shatter easily, or could get one that will last years. In this reviewer's experience it is possible to receive an extremely durable one. Take that for what you will.

I have 3 of the older version of this mug, which are mostly perfect and have lasted years with me. I bought 2 of the apparent newer version and I can see they've made several changes. The glass seems a bit thicker, it has a more rounded/beveled base and a logo change. All are good changes, EXCEPT for one -- they made the spout considerably smaller on this new model! This means that when pouring liquids (my main use for it), one has to pour MUCH more slowly, or else the liquid will dribble down the mug like crazy. Please bring the larger, old style spout back!

I received my new mug on Feb. 28th, today is the 8th (Mar.) and I have used it constantly! I love it. The square handle gives me a good grip when walking with it, has a nice flare on the lip for drinking, doesn't slosh like angled sided mugs, and I can see in the mic. when it begins to boil. So many plusses! This afternoon I headed to the sofa with a mug of water and a bowl of hot nacho cheese popcorn. Not wanting to make two trips…. But I fell, knocked over my sewing machine, knocked the craft table off it's blocks and popcorn went everywhere! I ended up under the edge of the table with broken glass all around my feet! I have to hold on to things as I walk, but didn't have a third hand and now my wonderful all-time-favorite mug is smashed. : ( I now am ordering a replacement. I will be making one trip at a time if I have to crawl.UPDATE: Feb. 2016 I still have my replacement mug that I got March 8, 2014, and I use it everyday nearly all day! I love this mug! The square handle is absolutely perfect for a secure grip by those physically challenged when walking. The flared lip is great for no spill/dribble drinking. It holds just the right amount for me and I love being able to watch thru it in the mic' so as not to seize the chocolate when making hot cocoa. I used a blue Vitrea® pen, from a craft store, wrote my name on one side and drew a dragonfly on the other side to personalize it. It was well worth the price. I highly recommend this mug! I had bought a different beaker cup for my son and broke the first week. This one has been more the a month and still going.

A truly wonderful mug, I use it to brew coffee in my AeroPress at the office. At home I would use a scale to measure the amount of water in my brew, but with this mug I simply use the volume markings on the side.Pros:- Mug is huge -- I usually fill it about 1/2 way.- Durable -- well, I haven't dropped yet, I'm sure it will endure a drop easily.- Great looking -- I've gotten many compliments on it... And I love them both. *** Be advised - don't use highest/max heat settings. *** And when removed from the burner set it down on a wooded cutting board or a kitchen towel. DO NOT slide it from the hot to the cool section of a sealed electric cooktop - that's too much thermal stress. If you have an electric stove, you will need a SS mesh screen. Go halfway on the burner setting or maybe a little more, like #6 out of 10. If you have gas, use a screen even though you don't have to and don't use max flame. Even when properly insulated from your stove with a SS mesh screen, high heat for extended periods will weaken the glass and eventually shorten its lifespan. I left liquids on the stove a few times, forgot about it, and returned to find it boiling like crazy. It only took 5 or 10 times doing that and one day I noticed the entire bottom was cracked even though I never placed it down on a cool surface while hot.

Los compré para beber cafe frio y cuando los utilice para cafe caliente no hubo problema, eso si, lo debo tratar con cuidado porque son delgados, pero de buena calidad.

High quality, ultra thick beaker (twice as usual). Exactly as it's pictured. Thickness probably won't help me when a drop one on the floor... I'm really happy with my purchase. Really would be nice to have different sizes. But this one is perfect, good for everything. Those are my official coffey cup at home. Everybody simply loves those cup. Ultra fast shipping from USA.
