Much easier to assemble with 2 people!
To get the height, Gardener Supply has made this in 2 parts, upper and lower. As soon as you get part of it “stacked” correctly and move on the the next piece, some of the connections will become disconnected and you ave to start again. It’s very awkward because of the weight of the length and having to make vertical connections while the weight seems to be pulling them off. Ideally, having someone just holding the top half level and steady would make it easier. If I had it to do again, I think I might have gotten the shorter version that is all one piece for my peas. That size (which I have in another part of my garden) is much sturdier and easier to work with.

Great garden support!
Just what I needed for my peas. Easy set-up, attractive and durable! Love that I can collapse and store for next year.

A little tricky to set up, but look good/seem like they’ll work well.
A little tough to get in place, especially by oneself, because pieces want to come unhooked. Once up, though, looks great and seems sturdy enough. Directions advise adding stakes for stability, which was a little disappointing, since these aren’t cheap trellises. And as others have said, wish they were a little taller. Overall, happy with purchase.

This is the best thing I ever purchased for the garden
This is the best thing I ever purchased for the garden. I have been trying to make my own for 20 years and they never hold up. These will be the only thing I need for bush beans, peas and any flowers that lean to the sun too far. Recommend!

Good for Peas
Peas can have trouble on trellises. I used to use string, but I wanted something a little more durable. This trellis did just fine - the peas climbed right up it.
