I had purchased from this seller in the past with mixed results. They are now sending clasps that are not the same as what is pictured. Clasps are incredibly flimsy and hollow. Not worth putting on anything you would want to take the time to make. Not worth your time waiting for poorly made product or dealing with returns. Buyer beware.

just right for small boxes I'm using

The first time I bought these, they were great. Exactly as pictured and more solid than other's i've used. Second time I bought them, they had loops that go over the clasp receiver under the swing latch which is not pictured. Not suitavle for wood chests, only leather/flexible applications. Some seller probably hopped onto the listing with the wrong product.

The lock clasp are okay but the scewws are too small.

They don't stay shut. It is difficult to keep the clasp shut because they flop over the pole that is supposed to latch them shut; also, they are loose and floppy.
