Heavy Duty Magnetic Doorstop with Catch (Satin Brass)

I bought these for 2 inside and 2 outside doors.Inside: they work great.Outside: any medium wind will make the door close. I tried replacing the door piece with another magnet, but this didn't really fix the problem. Because of frustration, someone slammed the door into the doorstop, ripping it out of the ground. So, I'd say 5 stars for inside, 2 stars for outside.

I've been looking for simple, easy to install doorstops that aren't obtrusive. This one may be simple, but installing it requires drilling *three* holes in the floor ... and then one is left with a ridiculously oversized piece of sculpture bolted for eternity to the floor.My search continues ...

Very strong mmagnet Wind cannot closet the door easily. I am very satisfied.

If had other magnets of this type before with the round ball on top. They always broke after too much use. This is by far the sturdiest and strongest one of all.

These are very sturdy and hold the doors firmly. They also are a nice Satin Chrome, not some cheap plastic or vinyl so they look really good.

We were looking for doorstops that would hold the doors open and prevent slamming when window and sliding doors are open with a modern look. All the magnetic doorstops we found elsewhere where at least two times as expensive and didn't look very nice. These are beautiful and work perfectly. It took us about 10 to 15 minutes to install each one. You just need a pencil to mark the floor or the base trim/wall where you want to install the other end to make it very easy to install. The magnets work perfectly too, not too strong or too light. These are amazing. Absolutely love them. As usual amazon to the rescue!

A little expensive for a door stop but it is the Rolls Royce of door stops.If you want high quality stainless and want to prevent the door from blowing shut and shattering your mirror like I did, I highly recommend it.I used this on a light interior door. I bought the "ball" model for a patio door I have and it does not really hold it well. I think this one would have been better. However that door was a heavy glass double pane exterior door.

Easy to install. I like the strength of the magnet. Holds the pantry doors closed well. Originally had the ball bearing/spring type of latch and found myself constantly repairing or adjusting them. Big improvement
