Works good and a great price.
Easy to instally except there was one screw on the top side that was hard to reach and put back in, but the part fit perfectly. Just the model of vehicles mounting was the issues getting the screw back in.

Good product, easy to install
2001 Yukon Xl rear ac/heater would not allow heat to blow in the rear. There are 2 of these servo's in the back (both the same part#) for the rear ac/heat system; one controls the diverted door to switch from ac to heat and the other controls the diverted door that controls which vents in the rear blow the air.If you cannot get the rear to change from ac to heat or visa versa then this servo is stuck or stripped, if you cannot change which vents blow air in the rear then this servo is stuck or stripped. The one located the furthest forward controls which vents blow and the most rearward one controls whether you get ac or heat, both are very easy to change and are a common issue with GM vehicles. The large plastic side panel underneath the rear side window on the passenger side is what you must remove to gain access to these servo's; it is mostly a series of clips that pop in and out to remove this panel but there are many videos on YouTube that can walk you through it if you are not familiar with how GM assembles their interiors. The servo's themselves are simple once the panel is removed, two tiny screws and one wire connecter to unclip, less than one minute apiece to replace these 2 servo's (you might want to replace both while your in there since they are cheap but once you see how the panel comes off you won't have any problem getting back in there again if you only change the bad one)Good luck!

real headache to install, but not what you think.
As I am 6'4" and 240lbs, it's very hard for me to reach the area where this actuator is mounted. But it works perfectly.

Did not work.
The product was defective out of the box. To be fair, any car part can be defective, even new. It took way longer to have the actuator installed than I would have like and therefore I am passed the return date policy. Just be aware of any additional reviews stating defective part.

2002 Escalade Rear Blend - worked but...
Amazon tells me that this would not fit my car, but the title of this item indicates it is a direct replacement for the rear blend actuator on my 2002 Escalade (right circled actuator in my picture). Both rear actuators have the same part number (16164972) and this item was a perfect fit for either of them. I put this on and tried it out but it did not work in the blend actuator slot, which was the one that failed. It did work when I plugged it in for the mode actuator slot. So I took the old mode actuator and used it for the blend actuator and both work - at least for now. I believe there is a reset procedure for these actuators which causes the body control module to relearn the actuator limits and maybe that would have fixed this actuator when I tried it in the blend position. But I wanted to share this experience in case others found it informational.

Perfect for 2004 GMC Denali.
Great replacement for my 2004 Gmc Denali. Fit perfect and stopped that dreaded clicking. This is the 2nd one I purchased as both have gone out in the past year. Great value over factory high priced replacement.

Did the job!
I wasn’t able to use my AC on levels 1, 4, or 5. Only 2 & 3 worked. Hubbs installed this in 15 mins & BAM ! ! I have all five levels of a fan now. Heavy duty part came with the wiring, harness connector, extra connectors, & everything needed. I waited all summer and didn’t even need to! Works awesome
