I like this product, it is cheaper than many similar however with that it seems to have a couple of design flaws I cannot get past. Firstly around the neck where you can cinche it up tight the adjustment is in the centre. Didn't matter how I laid this was in my face, I have after only 1 night moved this myself to the outside. Now much better and similar to the foot box adjustment. Secondly the footbox zip is just awkward, it needs a small flap or something to cover it up on the inside when connected so you don't feel it at night. (Like all sleeping bags do even at low cost end) Also the zipper is double sided, although great for a sleeping bag on this it just makes it chunkier than it needs to be. (You can certainly feel it on your legs in the night)It is warm and over all impressed, just seems like these couple of design oversights make it not quite as good as the more expensive ones I have seen. Fixing these issues would certainly allow it to compete with the more expensive ones on the market for comfort.

Haven't used this yet, bought after oex down bag failed to do its job on West Highland Way in March. First impressions very good. Looks well filled, tested fit and easily covered me up,I'm large built and 6'3", so looking forward to cosy nights on the JMT in July.

So far like everything about it....Nothing else comes close at this price point.

When I read the reveiws on this one thing kept repeating itself over and over again, how much this bag lofts up. I have only had it a few days and at the moment the temperature here is in the high seventies and low eighties so I can't yet tell if it will be good down to 15 degrees as advertised, what I can tell you is that the quilt sent to me has not lofted up and frankly looks a little flat. To be honest it really doesn't look the part at all especially when I compare it to some of my other bags. However I will give it the benefit of doubt and I will slowly test it as the temperatures drop off in the autumn. I hope that it turns out to have been a wise choice and not a waste of money but to me it doesn't look like it would keep me warm at 15 degrees Celsius never mind 15 degrees Fahrenheit, hope I am wrong, I will update this reveiw as I go

I purchased the quilt last month and took it out for a 50 mile backpacking trip (August, 2017). I used it for 3 nights, all at elevations above 10,500 feet.in Colorado. Temperatures "in the mountains" were predicted to be in the mid 40s. I believe that at my campsites, it got into the 30s. It rained during 2 of the 3 nights. I used it with a foam sleeping pad that came down to my knees. I was using a Jardine style tarp arrangement that allowed air to flow through my shelter and there was a breeze on one night. I was wearing all the gear I brought (full clothing, fleece vest, balaclava) and still was cold. I believe I "sleep cold" compared to others. If you like me are a first time quilt user, you may want to pay extra attention to your head covering; this product (by design) does not have the "hoodie" you would see on a mummy bag. I also plan to use a full length pad on my next trip if temperatures are as cold again.I also used it for one night of "car camping" with a conventional tent at a lower elevation (maybe 9000 feet) and was toasty.There are many things to like about this product:1) Weight - this saved over 2 pounds compared to my (admittedly warmer) synthetic bag.2) Ease of movement - I toss and turn during the night. This is a real hassle in a mummy bag. With a quilt, it was easy. The included straps to position the quilt to my pad worked well: easy to use, effective in holding the quilt in place and lightweight. With a quilt, I can change my leg position, rather than being forced to have my legs together and either both knees bent or both straight.3) The quilt arrived a bit earlier than promised. There were no workmanship issues with its construction. It was accurately described.4) Water resistance - One night, I got some condensation on the outer covering. Between shaking it off and draping it around me for my first hour of hiking the next morning, it dried out fine. I did not detect any down clumping that would indicate water got past the outer material.5) It packed small, taking about half the volume of my old sleeping bag.

UPDATE (10/22/2018):Final thoughts. This isn't the lightest quilt in this product category, but it certainly does the job well. I would argue that it lofts up more like a 0-degree top quilt than a 15-degree one. When this thing lofts up, it is huge. I took it down to about 12 or 13 degrees at the very beginning of the year, and it was toasty warm. If it's any warmer than about 40 or 45 degrees outside, this thing is too warm. I've had some issues with the zipper opening up a little while I sleep (usually because I'm restless), but unless you are a wild break-dancer in your sleep, the snaps and zipper hold the foot-box together well. I have the long version (I'm 6'2" & 230 lbs) and it is plenty big enough for me to stay completely covered up both in the hammock and on the ground. I have found quite a bit of flexibility with this quilt depending on what I pair it with. If temps are in the mid 30s (F) to upper 40s (F), it pairs well with my 40F-degree 3/4-length under quilt. If it drops below 30F, it pairs really well with my full length 20F-degree UQ. I have taken that setup down into the teens. Altogether, this is a very solid piece of gear. I still think it could pack down smaller if desired, and I may try out some other stuff sack options just to see. The quilt is a little heavy, but for the insulation it provides, I would compare the weight more against 0-degree top quilts than other 15 or 20 degree quilts. It's that warm. When I took it down into the teens I wasn't even layered up. I had on a base layer and a single pair of wool socks ... that's it. If you layered up a little this thing would easily keep me warm at even colder temps. It's crazy thick when fully lofted.UPDATE (9/7/2018):Okay ... so I've had this thing out in the field several times even during the summer (went north for a trip), and love it. I have ditched the stuff sack in my packing routine, and just cram this thing into the bottom of my pack (use a compactor bag as a liner to hold all my down). It's very warm, lofts up nice, and is great for hammock camping. It's a little heavier than comparable products from vendors like Hammock Gear, but performs very very well. If they made a 40 degree quilt, I'd give it a serious look for camping in warmer weather. Right now, they have a 30 on the market, but it's only about $10 less than the 15, so that pricing doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. Hopefully it will change or they will introduce another product geared towards warmer temperatures.ORIGINAL REVIEW (1/30/2018):Just received today. I returned a 15 degree down bag purchased from another vendor (quality and customer service issues) and bought this top quilt from Paria. I had been thinking of moving this direction for my sleep system and the experience I just had with the other company helped to seal the deal.Shipping was quick. I purchased it for Prime 2-day delivery yesterday and received it today. Looks like it shipped out of Fort Worth, TX, and I'm in a suburb of Dallas, so it got here really fast.Initial observations are positive. I checked all the stitching, seams and baffles ... all are in tact and clean. All the snaps, buckles, zipper and draw strings are solid.A couple ideas for future updates to this product:1. Ship it with a smaller compression sack. It could easily stuff into a 6-10L compression bag and compress down smaller than the included bag will.2. Include a pocket in the end of the compression bag for the pad straps. This will help keep everything organized (and I don't use a pad when hammock camping, but will when in a tent ... I'm probably not unique in that).3. I am color blind (red/greed deficiency), but the colors of the bag are more vivid in person than in the pictures on Amazon. The green outer shell is a deeper green than shows in the picture. I think it's actually a better color than what shows on Amazon.4. Make the end caps on the compression bag out of the same material as the body ... it would be lighter. Just a suggestion for folks who count ounces.5. For a sales support idea, it would probably be a good idea to send out an email, or include a card with the quilt, explaining for first time users how to loft up the new quilt properly and how to care for it. For folks transitioning to quilts, it will probably help prevent mistakes that ruin the product for them.I look forward to using this. I am going backpacking with my son next weekend and will do take this quilt for my sleep system. I will update my review when we return.

Pros Great quilt for the money. I have an EE 20 degree revelation quilt that has too many cold spots to take me below 30 degrees .With my x therm pad I took this quilt down to 20 degrees in my t shirt and boxers and kicked my socks off around 2am. Slept great. Its my go to quilt now I prefer the extra weight for a good nights sleep.ConsI sewed on a baffle by the zipper as that is very annoying with bare legsSo far so good I will check back on durability and quality after winter really gets goingCheers from the Great White North

Can’t say enough good things about this quilt. I was seriously considering a much more expensive quilt from another more boutique companies but decided to give this quilt a try. So happy that I did. I can’t think of another quilt that’s this light, this inexpensive and this warm. I’ve used it on four different outings down to the high-20s and it was perfect.
