adidas Performance Men's Soccer Mundial Goal Shoes

Old review from Summer 2018: I bought these for wearing as a casual, sporty shoe. The fit is as expected, I have a wide foot and I feel no hot spots. I wear NIKE normally, but thought I return to Adidas for something different.Update/Edit: I’ve worn this pair of Mundial Goal shoes around the house on wood floors and once to work. So, they haven’t been used playing soccer at all, or any running for that matter. Anyway, Today the suede on the toe separated from the rubber at the toe while walking around the house. I would NOT recommend these shoes. Craptacular. Check the photos. The tread wear, color, and uppers show minimal use. This is not the quality of Adidas I used to know.

I like the style of these shoes, but I have to be honest...they are very uncomfortable shortly after wearing them. I understand they are for soccer, but I purchased them more as an all around athletic sneaker, and even just walking in the for a few minutes my feet are fatigued because they are so flat on the bottom. So I really wouldn't recommend if you are buying as an all around sneaker. Unless maybe you have flat feet. Then you probably wouldn't notice a difference. lolQuality of the sneaker itself is very well. I see them holding up for a long time.Also, sizing is a little small as others have mentioned. I consistently wear size 12 shoes, and these were the first I ever had to return for a half size larger.Hope this helps.

I needed an upgrade from my regular Samba's and read that these might offer a little more width. I normally wear a 10.5 4E in New Balance running shoes. I wore the regular Samba in 11 for about 2 years, though very tight at first, they did slowly stretch. So, I ordered these Mundial Goal in 11.5. They fit much better out of the box and will need little, if any, break in time. Until more manufacturers start making wide soccer shoes, these will probably be my future 'go to' shoe. New balance does make 1 or 2 wide indoor shoes, but currently are only offered in 'Clown' type color schemes. I tend to wear my indoor shoes for daily activities, as well as coaching, and am a middle aged man.

I'm using these for casual wear, so can't comment on on-field performance.These fit very well out-of-the box. The leather upper is soft and flexible, and the shoe seems to be "normal" in terms of width. For my foot, and given the size I ordered (I have a wider forefoot than most for my foot size and usually have to get a 1/2 size bigger to accommodate), they are slightly large, and using the additional lace hole and thicker sock helps alleviate most of the slipping. If these were made in an E width, I could have ordered my actual size and they'd likely be spot on. If you are using these for actual play, they should run true-to-size and fit "just right" - not glove tight.Relative to cushioning, there is very little - the shoes are meant for indoor soccer, where one is typically on the forefoot, so heel cushioning is very stiff. This does not bother me in the least as it is expected. Otherwise they are very comfortable to wear and use in a casual manner.Can't beat the classic Adidas style of course!

I have wanted a pair of these indoor Mundial's for a few years, but couldn't justify paying $100 for them. Found them on Amazon (very unexpectedly I might add) for about $75 as compared to Sambas (which rose up to about $70 on avg) so I decided to go for it. I always bought sambas with the shorter tongue in the past because they were cheaper and still extremely comfortable, but I like these even more! My foot feels closer to the ground than I expected. They seem to have a bit of "boost technology-esque" padding underneath, so i thought they would stand a little high off the ground, but they are fairly low. Which I love because I don't feel like I'm going to twist my foot playing soccer.I also love the kangaroo leather. Can't beat it. They are so comfortable and durable. Additionally, I use them most often as everyday shoes, but sometimes I go play pickup soccer or futsal in them and they work fantastic. The grip on the bottom is excellent and the touch on the ball is sublime.Only thing I'll say is the tow box feels a little spacious, though I have a fairly narrow foot so it might just be average and comfortable for most people. If I buy these again I will buy a half size down just to make the toe box a little more snug, because the leather stretches and morphs to your foot over time. So if I got a half size down I bet they would be a tad snug at first but then would stretch and conform perfectly to my foot.

Found these on Amazon about $30 cheaper than all the online soccer stores. Great deal. These are not knock offs at all. Kangaroo is the toughest leather out there for tensile strength. It is used in bull and stock whips due to its durability. It is thinner than cow leather and really helps this shoe mold to your foot. I have worn these ever since they stopped making the classic black and white indoor adipure in kangaroo leather and haven't looked back. Order your normal size unless you are using these for a ball. I wear them casually. This shoe makes a great skate shoe as well!

I had sambas in the past so decided to try these. I have flat feet and was worried the arch might be too high to wear all day at work like my sambas. Not the case. The arch is not high in these so they work perfect for me. They rubbed weird the first day at the top so I unlaced one hole setting and now they are perfect. I work 10+ hour days on concrete floors and these do very well. They dont have cushy soles but somehow that works. The construction of the shoe is better than canvas shoes (vans and converse) that I usually get. With the nature of my work I go through sneaker shoes in 4 months. When these wear out, I will definitely buy again.

For this being marketed as an indoor soccer shoe, its not very sturdy. I originally bought these as casual shoes. I figured that these would have no issues performing for indoor soccer. It only took 2 matches for the side of the right shoe to tear (very similar to the tear another reviewer posted). It has an incredibly comfortable k-leather upper. Nice try Adidas, but not good enough. I should have listened to my gut and gone with some Joma shoes.

The best indoor shoe for soft touch, great traction. I use to wear the Sambas. In comparison these have way more foot protection and don't sacarfice a great touch. However, Samba gives you a true bare foot feel. The mundial Goals give way more arch and heel support.I like the sambas better when I am healthy no foot injuries. I like the mundial Goals better if my feet are feeling sore or injured.

box of products was ripped open. The box was open when it was delivered. one pair of Adidas shoes was the wrong size. i sent both pairs back.

i have the copa mundial and mundial team in the same size so i ordered the same for these but for some reason they are fitting tighter. I have been wearing them for a couple weeks now and still fitting snug

As advertised - no problems

Returned. Cheap beyond belief. My 20-year-old Adidas are better quality
