I have to say, I'm really surprised at all the positive reviews on here. I can now honestly say that I have no idea how anyone that cooks regularly can use these tins and not go crazy from the mess they make and the amount of spice they waste.1. THEY'RE REALLY LOW QUALITY:When I was wiping the tins per the instructions, I noticed right away that at least half of the 24 tins had thin plastic wedged between the clear lid and the stainless steel lid frame. The plastic was extremely thin - much like the baggies each tin was individually wrapped in - and would tear really easily when I attempted to remove it, making it impossible to completely remove. Some jars had the plastic sticking out on the exterior (making it look very cheap) and others had it inside the jar, where it could break off into your spices. This was annoying, but wasn't really a deal breaker on it's own.2. THE LIDS ARE LOOSE.Some of the lids fit tightly, but AT LEAST half of them have lids loose enough that they feel like they'll fall off on their own.2. THEY LEAK.Whenever I filled a jar with a fine spice (like garlic salt, onion powder, etc.), and then held the jar sideways to place on my fridge, the spice would immediately begin leaking out of the holes on the sides. The spice did not pour out, but enough spice came out to put a thin coat on my countertop. I thought I surely had to be doing something wrong. I made sure the rim on the tin was wiped free of any spices (per the instructions). I made sure the hole in the tin was facing upwards, and that the holes in the lid were positioned on either side, so that no hole was facing downwards. I made sure the lids were tight (or as tight as they could be). I also made sure they weren't overfilled - they were well under 2/3 of the way filled. They still leaked.After noticing these two flaws, I had already filled 12 and decided to put them on the fridge and test them for a few days (I REALLY wanted them to work!). It's then that I figured out what the issue was. Whenever the container is placed vertical (like when it's hanging on your fridge), the finer spices (like onion powder, garlic salt, etc.) spill out of the tin and onto a lip on the exterior of the jar. It then slowly leaks out whenever the jar is moved (or whenever the fridge door opens/closes). That spice continues to sit there even when you take the tin down to use it - meaning when you twist the lid or remove it, there's a good amount waiting to spill all over the place. If this happened over time, it wouldn't be a big deal, but it happens EVERY TIME. So, EVERY TIME you use or even move a tin, spices are spilled.I REALLY wanted these tins to work out as they are affordable and do look very nice, however, they are definitely not worth the trouble! I will be returning for a refund. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

Well, these arrived on my doorstep and I was so excited to put them to good use. Right up until I realized that fully half of these container lids did not fit very well on the containers. The lids are so loose they just slide right off with no resistance. If you are storing these on the wall, Beware. If you don't grab them by the containers instead of the lids you herb or spice will end up on the counter or floor. Also these did not come with all the labels as listed.

These are very nice and look great on my stainless steel refrigerator. I put spices in the containers but have not use them yet. I followed the instructions and just wipe them clean with a damp rag and dried them. I followed the instructions and just wipe them clean with a damp rag and dried them immediately. It is important to follow the directions. It’s great to have extra space in my cabinet now and the side of the refrigerator was empty anyway. I plan on ordering some larger ones in the future as not all my spices would fit in those containers.

These are great!! The stainless steel tins are replacing the non-stainless steel spice tins I have that are very hard to open to get the spices out and impossible to clean. I am looking forward to grabbing my spice of choice (located on the side of my refrigerator for convenience) and quickly being able to use it rather than fight to turn the cap. The clear cover allows you to see the spice. The labels are helpful. I love how much room it frees up in my pantry.

Love the idea of the magnetic bottom that attaches to vertical surfaces and a clear top for a quick identification of the contents.However, of the 60 containers (three boxes) I purchased ten containers had lids that would not stay on and others are a bit loose. Also the clear tops on some leak a bit of the finer spices out when turnon it's side for use.

I like how useful these containers are. I'm using them for spices as well as office supplies. Since they're magnetic they'll stick to my file cabinet where I've got paperclips, pushpins & safety pins stored. I like filling them with bulk spices I buy and they're easily refillable. My son grabbed a couple to keep spare mini lego pieces. The labels are great because they're the right size and pre-printed. I'm sure there are tons of other uses for these tins, too. 5 stars.

Lots of good labels! I wish the magnets were just a bit stronger. These will be used in an RV

They are great but after filling and use, the spices will leak just a bit.
