Comfortable and waterproof
This was bought as gift and has been received with functional gratitude. Yes, it is a costly but this offsets itself with its' wicking and waterproof functionality. It keeps the feet warm and dry in cold, damp and wet walking/running conditions.

You get what you pay for, 5⭐️
So much better than expected. When I received them I thought I'd feel my feet slip in them. However they've been incredible.Very think and comfortable and most importantly Jeep your feet dry. They are expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. That's 100% better than wet feet.

They work well.
They do provide great water proofing, you can literally stand in a bucket and stay dry. Great with a good pair of shoes. They are really warm however so not ideal for a trail run in the warm weather. My feet were damp from sweat, that may be a personal issue that may not affect others in fairness. They feel strange at first as there are two layers so its almost like wearing two socks at once but with shoes on that feeling is barely noticeable.

Excellent even in hot weather!
Worth every penny, just finished a run in 25 degree heat and feet remained cool throughout. I've ankle size sealskinz, but they proved pretty redundant in the depths of winter when running through ankle length mud and water. Basically there's a reason these are the price they are - invest, especially if you're a trail runner!

Wonder if these actually work? THEY DO
As an actor who has been working on some pretty wet days on some really wet outdoor exposed sets, these are the best thing I've bought to deal with the very wet conditions normally in costumes that are not fit for the rain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Keep feet dry
They definitely keep your feet dry. They just feel a little weird when you first put them on, like putting bags on your feet. The feeling quickly disappears after putting them on. I've done a couple of 20 mile hikes in them and the durability seems to b e really good. I even use them for running in the rain to keep my feet dry.

They work
They work, they will keep water out and are a game changer for day hikes. But they are not totally water-proof! Water can seep in through the top elastic during bad downpours or when walking through long wet grass. So you need to combine with gaiters and/or waterproof leggings to keep all the water out.Not the most comfortable socks in the world but doubt anyone would notice while hiking. You need to keep them clean or they lose breathability. They do take a while to dry so if you are doing a multiday excursion, you probably will notice a build up of sweat related dampness.I did a lot of damage to my feet walking last winter in the mountain snow and having soaking wet cold feet. Can't wait to use these this year.Additional note:If your shoes get soaked through and these socks get covered in water for a long period of time, your feet no longer breath, and will get wet from sweat. So use the proper equipment and/or empty out your shoes when you put a foot in the bog.
