Lifefactory BPA-Free Stage Y (6+ Months) Silicone Nipples, 2-Pack

I have twins that were exclusively breastfed for the first 3 months, and then given bottles when i had to go back to work full-time (though I still nurse them whenever I'm home). A lot of literature out there says that the best nipples for breastfed babies have a large base (unlike these) but I really think it's depends on the baby. Both of mine hated the Playtex Natural Latch ones that I tried initially even though my older daughter loved them when she was a baby. Since I wanted to switch to glass bottles anyway, I decided to give Lifefactory a try and surprisingly the twins were fine with it. It does look a little funny because the entire nipple disappears into their mouths so their lips touch the white ring cap but they seem happy so I can't argue. The most important thing for me was that using these nipples has not impacted the way they latch on me at all. However, like I mentioned before, I think it's very baby-specific so you won't know until you try.I've been using the nipples for 4 months now and they've held up great. Right after using, I simply throw them in a stainless steel bowl filled with soapy hot water, soak them for 15-30 minutes and the're good to go after rinsing. If I wait too long after feeding them to throw them in the water they sometimes have a little bit of residue but that's easily cleaned using a nipple brush.

I've only ever needed to use one out of the box. We have one bottle and just wash it immediately after we use it. My daughter is off the bottle now but used this for almost 6 months with no problem and they didn't stain or rip or anything. If you are someone who forgets bottles in the car, or your child puts them in hidey holes for you to discover much later, the smell will definitely linger and you may need to toss. I had this happen once with the same brand but different life stage. No amount of washing would get the smell of rotten milk out lol. As long as you clean it and dry it right away, one will probably last you as long as you need it.

Although I wish they also like the connector part separate instead of having to rebuy the bottle since that can get dirty overtime with built up

We have been very pleased with the entire LIFEFACTORY line of bottles, nipples and caps. We were nervous after reading some fairly bad review and my sister warned that babies don't always like certain types of bottles. But we plunged ahead and bought several bottles & nipples in preparation for our little one. Since we adopted, he is only bottle / formula fed, so bottles are very important to us. We love the life factory glass bottles and all the "accessories" have been great, too. The nipples are made of a high quality silicone so they will last. Our little one also likes the longer silhouette as he can latch on really well.My only complaint is that the stage is hard to see on the bottom of the nipple. We have to keep them separate from the stage one and three so I can tell them apart in the middle of the night...

I've been using the life factory glass bottles since my daughter was 3 months. Just purchased four of the Stage 3 silicone nipples now that she's older and downing her formula more quickly. I was a tiny bit concerned about the review that said there were no stage markings on the nipples and I was prepared to make sure I carefully swapped out all my Stage 1s for the new Stage 3s. But, I opened the package to find that there is indeed " Level 3" marked on all the Stage 3 nipples. Looks like life factory took the feedback and improved their product. Otherwise, I love these nipples. They've held up really well for 7 months now. I hand wash with my munchkin bottle brush (I don't trust the dishwasher to really get the nipples clean). I like that they are clear so I can see if there's any gunk inside. Overall great product!

I'm not sure how often you are supposed to replace these. We used Lifefactory bottles from the minute our son came home from the hospital. We usually went up a stage in the nipple every 3 months when he seemed to need different flow. Have had the stage 3 for five months now and I've noticed in past few weeks that the nipples come out of the dishwasher kind of cloudy. I think he probably needs another set. Otherwise, these have been great. He has used them daily and they come out of the wash fine. He actually does not like any other bottle nipple!

Only drawback is the nipples I received were supposed to be Stage 2. They flow more like a 3.

I’ve been using for about two weeks. flow is fast. I’ve been blending (nutri bullet) smoothies for my 12 month old and the nipples are working perfectly! just blend all the lumps out and you’re good to go.after about two weeks one nipple has clouded as previous review stated but I’m not sure if that’s a problem... are clouded nipples defective or dangerous? other than that, these are just what i wanted. nipples for baby smoothies.

Bought baby bottles second hand and these fit perfectly

Helaas gaan deze bij ons niet langer meer mee dan ongeveer een maand soms 2. Maar dat komt ook doordat onze dochter er in bijt. Tijdens een aanbieding prima prijs. Maar anders te duur.

Bought these to replace the original nipples that came with the Life Factory bottles. Unfortunately our one year old daughter refuses to drink from them. They have three small holes in a triangle formation rather than just one hole. I wish I knew they weren’t the same as what we had before.
