Great for a beginner, suggest building off of.
So this board was pretty sweet for me. I ordered 2, one for myself and one for my girlfriend. Neither of us has owned a longboard before, and she just recently taught me to skate on a penny board. With this in mind I am in no way an experienced rider, but I tend to get really into my hobbies.First look: Board was a bit high off the ground, it didn't bother me because it ran just fine. stain quality on the bottom was decent (I got blue, she got red). Grip tape was applied nicely and, and the whole board had a nice polished look to it. Both of ours were fairly stiff (neither of us being that heavy though). The plastic wrapping was a pain to get off.First Ride: Turning wasn't very easy, wheels are pretty huge, trucks very tight. I resolved this by simply loosening the master nut on the truck set up, and before I knew it turning became much easier (still no dime turns though).1-month in: I cleaned the bearings with a bones cleaning kit and lubed them up with speed cream. She functions just fine, however I've looked into building off of this board slowly. Eventually the last thing to go will be the deck.Let's toss in some stats!Trucks: 180mm long, decent quality. Diameter is about 8mm (this will come in handy a bit later)There is 1 speed ring per wheel acting as a buffer between the bearing and the larger axle.Bearings: mine were ABEC-7, no shields or anything fancy, so make sure you stay on-top of cleaning. 8mm hole This caused some confusion for me and I accidentally ordered the 16pk of bones swiss 7mm bearings. They did not fit.Wheels: "punked speed cruiser" 70mm, with a 52mm contact. they have a rating of 78a. Please note they also came with spacers to hold the bearings in place. They have decent roll and I see no reasonto replace them in the near future.Risers: Kinda cheapy looking plasticy rubber, I suppose you could remove them if you wanted to be closer to the ground. They add a little less than half an inch to the boards height, but I'm sure they help absorb some shock.Deck: hard for me to estimate so don't hold me to it, but it looks to be 7ply maple. Conclusion: If you're experienced you'd probably be better off spending the extra cash on a higher quality board. If you're new, and just looking to get a new hobby in time for a beautiful summer, this will fit you just fine. You can ride it right out of the box without making a huge commitment if it isn't to your liking. If you do enjoy it you can build off of it untill you've pieced a new board over time.

Great Price, Great Quality
Let me first start off saying that I am 11 and I recieved this longboard as a Christmas present. I started longboarding at my neighbor's house because he had a board, and I was instantly in love with the idea of an oversized skateboard. Now, I am no trickster, I just like pure riding, nothing fancy that can get me a room in the hospital.I had to get used to balance, which I am very good at, and this longboard was significantly sturdier than my neighbor's. With its incredibly big trucks and wheels, there's hardly any room for failure of balance. In fact, after riding this longboard, I tried my neighbor's again, and nearly hit the ground. This is perfect for a beginner that isn't the best at the balance thing.Another good feature of this board is the quality. It is made of Canadian Maple, which is very sturdy and a great material for a longboard. I've had my dad and I stand in the middle of the board and you could hardly notice any bending of the board. That is over 220 lbs. on the longboard! I have also noticed that the board is scratch-proof. It can withstand rugged-riding and still not have a single scratch. It still looks brand new if you take away being dirty. This may not be the biggest factor of this longboard, but the variety of designs of this board is amazing. You can choose from regular colors to crazy skater designs for the ambitious. That was a pretty big thing I wanted to mention. After taking all this into consideration, I can not find a con of this longboard. From the quality, to the variety, to the price, (starting at $69.99) this is a great longboard for a beginner to an expert longboarder. This is an amazing longboard for the very low price you will pay.

Good value
Love the board, got it within quoted delivery date. Very flexy and a nice smooth ride. I weigh about 200 pounds and it handles me fine. The wheel notches don't really do much, but the included wheels are small enough you can get a very respectable amount of board lean without having to worry about bite. I wanted to run my 83mm wheels just for the sake of maintaining momentum, but I got terrible wheel bite no matter how far I tightened the bushing. I wouldn't run anything bigger than 75's on it. Overall a great value for the money and would definitely recommend to a newb or someone wanting a good cheap board.NOTE: there is no concave to this board. Also, I left it in my truck one day (100+ degrees F) and the board warped pretty severely. It doesn't affect the ride, but it's obvious if the board is just sitting on the ground with no weight on it. The only thing I would have wanted other then what I got was some concave to the board for better control and it probably wouldn't have warped.

Get this board!
Awesome starter longboard. Sturdy, well-made, not too heavy, just the right amount of flex. Wheels are fine, bearings are meh, but you can always replace them as you get better. Yes, the trucks are tight, but that's nice when you're a beginner like me and don't want to wobble all over the place while you're learning to balance. Pintail shape means it's almost impossible to wheel-bite. I appreciate the understated look, too: natural on the bottom, grip tape and a subtle logo on top.Only gripe is how annoying it is to get the wrap off. Seriously, they put the wrap around the board and THEN installed the trucks. Why would you do that? I had to take off 3 out of every 4 screws to get all the wrap off. Yocaher, for the love of god, please don't do that to us again!Still, that tiny blip aside, I love this board and recommend it!!

Best board I’ve ever purchased!
Absolutely loved this board! It was such a smooth ride and well worth the money I spent on the board. Unfortunately it was stolen from me but was definitely the best money I spent on any skateboards that I’ve purchased.
