So I work at a plumbing company, and I like to give plumbing related funny gifts to people up here at work when they force secret santa down my throat. I thought this gift would be perfect. You could remind someone to flush the toilet, or spray fa-breeze if needed, put the toilet seat down, or a lovely little greeting such as "Welcome to the Dunn's guest bathroom, as a reminder there is a match to your left, and the guest towels are located in the cupboard on the wall, please refrain from stealing the Vicodin out of the medicine cabinet.". You could even scare someone and prank them. Like pretending there is a ghost. Or maybe even saying something funny like "yeah you better wipe that @$$!" Or "I can see you using too much toilet paper, could you not?" You could also record a custom greating for your family everyday, such as "Todays forecast calls for rain and it will be chilly so please dress accordingly, also if you don't do your homework the forecast also call to a swift kick in your @$$." Possibilities are ENDLESS with this. I could do this all day but I have to do some work here done today or they may get suspicious. The only sad part of this story is she doesn't have a toilet paper holder!! I mean good god who doesn't have one of those things.

I have one of these at my house and it is fun to hear the different messages people leave. I gave them as gifts to a couple of my son's friends (they are 30ish) and they were a big hit.

There's a good chance, only you are going to know what's been said on it. Downgraded from 5 stars to 4 for engineering. Otherwise, still a kick.I've purchased two of these and recorded two sounds from scenes for a Harry Potter-themed bathroom, waiting on which people prefer, Hagrid's quote to Ron, "Better out than in." or Mr. Weasley asking about rubber ducks. I've attached the latter to this review so you can tell it's not super loud, but it's amusing and audible, certainly after multiple wipes (a clean bum us a happy bum).You get 9 seconds for the recording. It fits in a standard roll and would be a funny surprise, hopefully not a shock, to anyone who uses your bathroom. I will probably record a new soundbite (too) frequently.I could see people recording encouraging soundbites from their kids' favorite show after they've used the potty. I can see adults record something cheeky (pun intended). There are endless possibilities given how long we sit on the throne. This seems like a no-brainer.

We now live in the Florida Keys but for many years have taken extensive trips to Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Country…where loon cries lull us to sleep. Our guest bathroom thus has the Northern Woods motife, with photos from our trips. Pull the toilet paper roller and loons start screaming out their signature calls. There has not been a person that we had in our house that has not emerged from the bathroom to start a conversation about the North Woods. So, yeah, you can make this just a funny ploy, or actually use it as a (post-bathroom-visit) conversation piece.

All has been quiet for over a year now…. since we filled their house with Christmas decorations (themed rooms with a full blown tree in every room). But, they have come back for more. And I am READY for retaliation.It took me a while to perfect the recording. I spent waaaaay longer working on this than I probably should have. But was it worth it? Ohhhh YES!I’m now counting down the hours until we sneak in, confiscate all of their real TP, and replace it with THIS!

So fun!! We all had a lot of fun pranking family and friends. You can re record over it so it can be used more than once. Its easy to hear but we talked loud when recording.
