Solid set for minecraft and lego lovers
Gifted to our eldest. He loves it. He is eight and built it with very little help. Then he went on to build more minecraft styled things from his extra legos from other sets. Highly recommend. It gets them to use their brains and hands versus consume media on a device.

Great for the price
Legos are up there but for the price this set had a lot going for it unlike some other ones. All in all worth it

Pricey but aren’t all LEGO
Not gonna lie my 8 year old had trouble building this but I love lego also so it was fun building it LOL nonetheless once built, my son won’t stop playing with it. It gets played with all the time and its a good “base” for toy soldiers as well

Nice set, but a slighly tricky build
I would echo one of the other reviews - this set is slighly harder to build than most. The base plates are very weak where they join, which means it often comes apart when trying to firmly attach other pieces. It could really have done with a little more reinforcement on the bottom. That's a minor issue though. The set itself is the usual Lego quality. Kids are happy. Just be prepared to help out a little on this one as it can be a little flimsy.

Best addition to our collection yet!
We loved putting this together! My 7 yr old son is obsessed with minecraft, so when he recieved this for his birthday he was very happy! It looks great with the rest of his collection and is bigger than the other sets so it definitely stands out. It is interactive and very fun to play with. Buy it!

Lego is always a great product for any child. However, lets be honest it's pricing schemes have gotten way out of hand for their products. Especially when other companies can make similar products at a fraction of the cost. Does my son enjoy the lego, absolutely. Will he have it for a long time, probably. But is it really worth the pricetag on the box? No definitely not and they do it on purpose knowing the kids will freak out and harass the parents for it. With it all said it's always a fantastic product, it's just over priced for what it is.
