Looking for a walking stick...you need this
Very well machined aluminum. The sections fit together flawlessly. Very sturdy and feels dependable. Fits my hand well. This is a great walking stick. The weight is a plus for me. I hate walking my dog and being at the mercy of dogs off their leashes, with or without owner supervision... as for burglars I have my .45. If I meet a bear I guess I'll be eaten with or without a walking stick. Every weapon has it's limitations. The length is a little awkward for me. I am 5'9" and it is a little too short as a walking stick, too tall as a cane. I wish I had ordered the extension as I intend to use it as a walking stick because I like the improved posture. It would have given me more options right from the start. The hard tip is great on carpet but useless on the streets and sidewalks so I will also have to order a rubber foot.I plan to make a paracord wrist strap for comfort and security, a personal preference. I will post pictures when complete.Overall would I order it again? Yes, I wish I had bought it years ago. It should last me a lifetime, unless of course one of those dogs gets it away from me and uses it on me, or the bear needs a great walking stick!UPDATE almost two years later:I made the forementioned changes and they work great. As a result I can walk 3+ miles a day without back pain, and I feel much better as a result. Incidentally I no longer have a dog problem, nor have I encountered a bear. I still love this walking stick and along with my cap and sunglasses I never leave the house without it.

Great cane, walking stick, and for costume props!
I have been using these since 2023 to use as the base for large Star Wars prop axes. These canes are awesome for a few reasons; 1) They are very tough and high quality. These canes/walking sticks are not going to break on you, and the grip texture is very helpful for keeping hold of it. 2) They are easy to take apart and reassemble, but they take up a very small amount of space. I've taken it around the US, UK, Iceland, Japan, and soon Canada and Italy. They fit into my suitcase with ease.I had a stroke in late 2022, so I use these for not just costume props but as walking sticks when I travel to conventions and events. They are marvelous and I will continue to buy them for as long as they are available.

This is a real solid aluminum walking stick
The walking stick is wonderful it is a little heavy but it is way solid and each insert piece is 6.9 in long so you can adjust the height. The tools are hidden inside each of the sections and you simply have to remove the section flip the tool from one end to the other and you're ready to go. However the non-skid end skids on tile and slick surfaces. no big deal. I changed it. With five sections and my new tip it is exactly the right height for me to use as a cane bearing weight on the end of the T handle when I have shoes on. I am 6'0" tall.

Ok as a walking staff
Nice sturdy walking staff but the tip is not good on hard surfaces, it's dangerous because it slips easily. Tools are ok, kinda cheaply made.

Very happy with this purchase!
This is excellent quality! Sturdy, solid and heavy. The tools are great for self defense or the wilderness. I bought a nonslip cane tip for walking. The tip it comes with can be slippery on some surfaces. Other than that 5+ stars!

Harpoon
This is well built and I recommend it. My wife found out it had a harpoon in it, and I can only take a certain places now. Don’t tell your wife about the harpoon

Sturdy
Easy to assemble. It is a little heavy but for certain uses out in the middle of nowhere, where things like to eat two legged creatures a nice heavy hiking staff may be a good thing. The one funny thing I noticed is that the name graphics on the section is upside down when it is put together. I have gone over this many times and don’t see any way to put this together so the name is right side up. But other then that it does feel well made.

Great for patients with limited mobility .
I bought this because my physical therapist told me to get rid of my cane and buy a walking stick. I broke my pelvis and a few vertebrae. Now I need something to keep me upright when I walk with my new funny walk. This is an amazing walking pole.It has grips every six inches, so when I need to bend over, or get up from a seat, I can grab it at various heights. It is also rock solid, with no flex to it. It's great for going up and down inclines. I am so glad I bought this instead of one of the fiberglass ones.It does weigh more. I think it weighs about four pounds. Which is about twice what my cane weighed.I purchased two extensions, so it is pretty tall. I think the plain product without any extensions is a little too short. But even with two extensions it was only a hundred bucks and that is less than most of the better fiberglass poles. So if you are recovering from a serious injury, this is the walking pole you want. I didn't buy any of the cool accessories. I may regret that if I ever get stranded in the Yukon Territory. But I plan on not letting that happen.
